California Comfort Control

The team at California Comfort was very responsive to our needs on the phone and showed up quickly made us feel we weren't being overcharged corrected the problem and got our AC back up and going quicker than expected and cheaper than the competition and in this California heat it was very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend them and I will be using them again in the future as well as my neighbors and family.

California Comfort Control installed our AC and central heat units back in 2016. They did a great job and were competitively priced. Recently a fuse blew in our AC unit and the office scheduled a same day appointment. The technician was very helpful and polite. In order to access our attic space, he had to climb through a panel in the ceiling above my child's built-in closet shelves. The top shelf if home to her prized Lego creations, which he carefully moved and then replaced without disrupting even one Lego! You couldn't even tell the shelf had been disturbed, which we greatly appreciated.

they did a great job at our business, Cameron was prompt and informative and had excellent customer service skills and managed expectations properly. found additional issues and handled them properly. thanks guys!

I was in need of AC repair and I called this company. They quoted me a minimum charge of a $107 one hour service fee and then charged a $117 "diagnostic fee" to determine the cost of repairs. The technician came to my home and was not able to determine the cost of repairs. Instead of receiving a proposal for repairs… I was sent an estimate of $1400 to do additional testing to determine the cost of repairs. I attempted to discuss with them my dissatisfaction with a diagnostic fee to provide a proposal for repairs that resulted in an sizable estimate for additional diagnostics, I offered to pay for the service call but asked that they not charge for the diagnostic fee since they did not provide me with a repair proposal. They seem to feel that they fulfilled the agreement. I chose instead to call another company which offered free estimates ( which I found that many companies are happy to do )… Thankfully the second company that I called out was able to fix my problem without any additional testing required. There are good service providers out there. Unfortunately California Comfort Control doesn’t appear to be one of them.

Love working with this company. I’ve known the owner for years and he is trustworthy and very competitive in pricing. This company handles a lot of the PMs at the commercial properties I manage and has performed great on repairs including cooling towers. Great customer service too!

We needed a new AC unit for our rental home this summer. We approved the quote for a new system and CCC kept missing apts and not rescheduling leaving our elderly renters without AC for over 3 weeks in the middle of summer. The staff is very nice but they have internal miscommunications leaving customers having to do all the leg work to get them back out to finish a job. They also sold my renters an out of code and old AC unit which is just bad business practices. I ended up switching to another company to get them a new AC with an in code new update unit in under a week. Be Aware!!!

Ca Confort Control did not communicate with Customer-When they would install the Air Conditioning Unit and Heater! So We decided to go with another Company and IT Took a week to have New A/C installed!! Boy was it Hot!! I’m Cool now because we got A/C and we are Happy!!
