West End Heating and Air

Jason, the owner of West End Heating and Air, came highly recommended to me by a person in the know and in whom I trust. He installed a new HVAC system with an air filter one year ago. I am so happy I went with the air filter because shortly after that I found I have "Richmond Allergies" 5 years after moving here. I found it helpful with both the allergies AND dust. My AC unit is right outside of my sunroom. Before the new unit it was very noisy. Not so anymore!! Air conditioning is VERY important to me as I moved here from Wisconsin and am not a fan of Virginia’s heat and humidity. Not a problem with my new system!! One more thing: the man who recommended West End also recommended one other company. His suggestion to me was to go with the owner who I liked the most. Jason is a young man who works hard. He is honest, kind, and very proud of his family. In addition, Mandy, who runs his office, is very efficient and returns phone calls quickly. I give West End my highest recommendation!

I have been using West End Heating & Air for over 3 years now. Always reliable, friendly & priced right. I have a maintenance contract with the end they come out twice year to make sure everything is fine tuned so I get the maximum out of my system. I highly recommend them if you are looking for an honest heating & cooling company that treats you right!

Our upstairs AC unit went out on Wednesday evening. I called West End Heating and Air at 8:15am Thursday morning, got scheduled for a tech to visit between noon and 4pm the same day. He arrived AT noon. Climbed into the attic and diagnosed the problem as a broken blower motor. Didn’t over promise, because he didn’t have the part available. But said he would try to find the replacement motor from a distributor before the weekend. He literally showed back up at our house 3 hours later with the blower. Installed in 20 minutes, and we had cold air pumping for our room and our 4 kids that evening. I couldn’t recommend this company enough! I am a West End Heating and Air customer for life!!

Jason arrived within the stated window. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. I have a single unit with three dampers controlled by thermostats on three different floors. The damper motor for the first floor had burned out. I was fortunate that Jason happened to have the part on hand due to a recent similar job. The damper was in a very tight spot, but Jason was able to get to it and make the repair relatively quickly. I am very satisfied with the service and will use this company again for future needs.

I had a great experience with this company! From start to finish they were responsive, punctual, straight-shooting and professional. Thanks to Charlie, Xavier, and team for getting me fixed up hassle-free. I'll definitely be going back to West End next time.

I was beyond lucky to be referred to West End Heating and Air. We have a very old unit (York 1975) that was serviced by one of their techs, Charlie. He was very thorough in checking both the outside unit as well as the one under the house, PLUS the thermostat inside. It wasn't just a service call, I got an education on the unit itself and how to preserve it. The service call was very reasonably priced. Charlie was very well educated and adept on the unit, and explained the issues we had with it in detail. I couldn't be happier. Also, shout out to the receptionist Mandy. She was very personable and made sure to schedule us promptly. This is a great company, and I look forward to continuing my services with them!

The heating system annual tune up was performed well. The Tech reviewed the exam and we discussed one item that needed a simple correction. He was on time, knowledgeable, and very professional. I have been using West End Heating and Air for almost three years and have been extremely satisfied.
