Thompson Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning

We are new to Escondido. We got a couple of quotes for a new HVAC system and selected Thompson due to the congeniality and knowledge of their rep Jacob. The installation was fast, just a day or two after the agreement was signed. The installation team was friendly, informative and skilled. Downstairs Chris did the condenser, and upstairs Angel and Cesar did the furnace and chiller in the attic. The following day a new team returned to finish the job. Ricky and Ty discovered a few glitches with the electronics and returned a day or two later with new control boards to remedy the issues. They also discovered a leak in the vent seal and scheduled a roofer to take care of that. All in all this was a positive experience.

My AC wasn't working properly. I called on Thursday afternoon, and by Friday afternoon, my AC was fixed and back up running. Ricky Rodriguez did a great job and left my office spotless. Thank you for the excellent service.

We did extensive research and got multiple quotes for a new HVAC system from a number of highly rated local companies. Initially planned to install a Trane system, but after comparing the specs of the various options we ended up going with a Lennox heat-pump and furnace combo. Jacob was fantastic to work with, as he was not pushy like the Anderson guy who used scare tactics, tried to upsell unnecessary add-ons, and even asked what our budget was. Jacob was very responsive and worked incredibly hard to accommodate our requests. We faced some challenges finding the ideal place for the condenser and a good spot for a new thermostat, but the install guys (Cesar, Angel, and Chris) worked diligently, found creative solutions, and were also extremely accommodating. I am extremely pleased with the product we purchased and with the quality of work that was done by Thompson. If you're in the market for a new HVAC system, don't waste your time with another company, call Thompson and ask for Jacob!

Ramon arrived right on time and was very professional. He knew exactly what needed to be done and explained it so I would understand why the old plumbing pipes were near the end of their life. He did a great job and was cheerful and very pleasant. I would highly recommend Thompson Plumbing and would definitely ask for Ramon again. I had hired a plumber last year, he came to my home four times and only fixed one small plumbing issue so I appreciate Ramon being so efficient. He is great!

Had Jose come out for a plumbing issue just a couple of hours after I called—super quick response! He showed up on time, quickly assessed the situation, and figured it out right away. What really stood out was how honest he was—he didn’t charge me for the service call and didn’t cut into the drywall just to create unnecessary work!
