Have an issue with my thermostat that the technician was unable to repair. He suggested I get a new thermostat. He did however clean and repair insulation that had gotten all over the Inside of the air handler and blower. The tech, Jonathan, was very knowledgeable and polite. I would not hesitate to use this company again. It was 320.00 for an hour and a half and the problem I was concerned about is not fixed, but I'm not blaming the tech.

Great work on Duct retrofit project! Dave and his crew at WF Smith were very responsive and helpful in taking the time to investigate and subsequently correct our attic duct issues that many other companies had ignored. I really appreciate their professionalism, expertise and help! We now have great airflow. Would definitely recommend.

I have used this company to install a new ac system in my home, handler and the works, they also installed a ductless ac unit both of which I’ve had for several yrs with no issues so I went back to them to replace my wall mount with a dual heater and ac wall mount system. Installation was quick and performed with minimal interruptions. 2 installers arrived on time, neatly dressed, courteous and informative. They explained the new unit and how it works and offered ways to efficiently run the unit. I am extremely happy with this company, its products, reliability and customer service. They even too care of the zoECO rebate application for me. I couldn’t recommend them more!

By far, the best experience I’ve had with an installation. Lyle’s attention to detail and understanding of our ultimate goals was outstanding. Once installation began, the team was very prompt, polite and happy to answer all my questions. Highly recommend. Will be using them again.

Dave just got finished replacing my heat exchanger and was great. Showed me exactly why my furnace was setting off my smoke alarm, someone left a tube of caulk in the furnace, and made sure to sweep out the inside from the dust build up from the burning tube of caulk. While he was working on my system he also noticed the condensate pump wasn't wired into the furnace so if it where to clog it could cause my basement to flood. He went ahead and wired it in for me and didn't add anything to the quoted repair. The communication with the office staff was also fantastic, the heat exchanger took about two months to come in from the manufactor.While it was a long wait they called me as soon as it came in and made sure I still wanted the work done.

I called for service and was told there would be a $195 fee for the technician to come out. I was fine with that, as it's typically waived if you approve the repair—which I intended to do. At no point was I informed of any additional charges. I quickly approved the repair once I received the quote. However, after the work was completed, I was charged for the initial visit, the repair, and an additional diagnostic fee that was never disclosed. While I understand service policies may vary, every other company I've worked with has applied the initial fee toward the cost of the repair. My issue is with the lack clearly communicating price expectations. Response: The owner confirmed there was no proof of them communicating any additional pricing outside of the $875 quote and I was charged $1220. After researching expert sources, this service in this area is expected to range $600-900 with all fees accounted for.

So impressed with WF Smith and the tech Sam who replaced my thermostat and solved my cooling issues today. He was quick to diagnose and solve my issues and was helpful throughout the appointment. Highly recommend
