Dial One Tropical

I called Dial One last week when I noticed that my water heater was leaking. Moonie was very responsive and showed up the next day to replace my old water heater at a very reasonable price. His service was top notch, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you!

Charged almost 500$, and told us the AC is not worth putting on, needs $6000 worth of Repair. We thankfully called our original company, for $395, all AC fixed, filters changed. Just day and night in recommendations and service. I feel we wasted the first $500. I won’t call them ever again, and definitely won’t recommend them to anyone

One of the worst experiences I've ever had. Was given an appointment between 6:00 and 9. It was after 9:00 so I called to check to make sure someone was still coming. Was told someone is but they may be running late which is no problem. However, the technician called me venting about how he didn't even know that he had an appointment for me.. He went on to vent about issues with the company. Absolutely uncalled for. And now this is the guy that's coming to our house..... Apparently the technician doesn't like working for this company and decided to take it out on me. We've we've already been waiting over 3 hours so...

I have used Tropical Heating and Air for virtually all the repairs to my "mid-century " home. The quality of the work is exceptional and I have always been impressed with Moonie’s problem solving skills when faced with repairing and upgrading 1950’s infrastructure. They have always left the work space as clean (or cleaner) than they found. Moonie’s team is very professional and caring, they have gone out of their way to ensure minimum disruption of our household while working which is particularly important for us as my wife is ill and bedbound. This concern is very appreciated. I highly recommend them for all your plumbing and HVAC needs!

My furnace wasn’t working during a huge SoCal storm in January. I called Tropical at 6:30 pm expecting to leave a message since it was after normal business hours for most. I spoke to a lovely woman who took my information. To my surprise the business owner called me right back and told me how to fix the heater myself. It's so rare these days to have someone do me a favor. I highly recommend Tropical if you’d like things fixed by experts. Supporting local, real, honest, classy businesspeople is always nice.

He explained everything, reviewed the issues and discussed options for the repairs. He was prompt, professional and very thorough. Moonie answered the moment I called and was able to make an appointment for an estimate. When we met, he gave us options on fixing our air conditioner. He was upfront with two solutions. We went with what was in our budget and without hesitation, he went right to work on our problem without any hard sells. Communication was primarily via text as he was working, as not to disturb us. We needed a part, and without delay, Moonie got the part the next day and was at our house to fix our problem. We have cool air during these hot summer days and he was an absolute pleasure to work with!
