I did my shopping at this location this afternoon. When I was ready to check out, there were three associates standing near a register casually convering like they were on a coffee break. I pushed my cart up to the register, and the cashier told me to take my cart to another register. At first I didn't think anything of it, but then I noticed that when other customers behind me were pulling up to this person's register. Suddenly, she's open for business. When I was about to checkout at her register, she was busy and her friends were busy and couldn't be bothered. If this is the level of quality and service I can expect from this store, I'm taking my business elsewhere.
Went to this Kroger as I had many times before. Went to the checkout counter with only a few things. Didn't go through self check out because I had some produce items. An elderly lady in front of me had a cart full of groceries. Don't know why they weren't on the counter, instead, she was taking them out of her cart to check out. So I put my items on the counter and the cashier wouldn't stop the counter from rolling. So the cashier got rude with me and pushed my items back. And so I tells her to stop the counter from rolling. Then the woman sacking this lady's groceries says she can't stop it, which I know was a lie. Anyway, I got my items and went to the self check out. This cashier who is an Asian lady has been working there for a long time, and she has never been rude before. But she will never check my items out again.
Clean and organized store with a wide selection of grocery items. The pharmacy was only a few short aisles, but still found what was needed. Checkout was quick and easy.
Every single time I come in here, there are three people per register, but nobody is working the money services. Why do you need three people per register doing nothing and not have your money services open. And then you ask somebody and they don’t want to do anything but stand there and talk. What are you even paying them for?
This store has seriously declined through the years and I've been taking notes more recently 1. Weekly sale prices are never updated and advertised in the store until sometime later Weds afternoon. I shop on weds as do a lot of the seniors. Multiple times I've had to check the fine print on one of the sale signs and put something back after I realized that was last week's sale. I can't imagine a lot of people are doing that and thus being overcharged 2. Their delivery system sucks. I can't ever get a delivery on our agreed time. (Yes this is through Kroger's delivery not instacart as I'm a boost member) This is the 2nd time now in the last 2 weeks I have to make alt dinner arrangements bc what I ordered last night was supposed to be here no later than 10 am. It is now noon and my order hasn't been touched although they charged my card last night. Now I'm getting different prices which is Bs bc I made the purchase while specific sales were still active and therefore those prices should be honored (yes I'm also emailing corporate about that) also they never even communicate it's going to be late I'm just supposed to call them which is always a 30 min phone call just to find out they're not a little late were talking 8+ hours late. 3. Store needs a manager sweep, it's not that they're not nice, but not good at the job and definitely should be paying attn to some of the up front stuff too such as some of the young girls tend to want to get too chatty with each other during the checkout process. There's only 2 reasons why the store is getting a 3 from me. Yes inside it is clean and organized (minus the Weds sales not advertised on time) but y'all got 1 kid there (icr his name) he's got dreads, younger guy id be surprised if he was out of high school and he's a bagger...outstanding employee. He's always doing something that needs to be done, he's so engaging with customers and always smiling. Last and not least at all, Jamal the meat manager. He always goes above and beyond. Last Weds he interrupted his lunch break to do a price check for me on the ribs (that were not reflecting the current sale price) and they were needing restocked. I felt horrible and told him not to I would stop and come back, but he insisted. Y'all need to really be grateful to some of y'all's employees bc there's quite a few I didn't mention that are the only reason I continue to shop there. I prefer a personable experience when I go shopping I can't get at Walmart. Oh also 1 last thing, get y'all's meat department a damn bone saw. About 6 months back I had the butcher cut down a rib roast for me but when he brought it out he was explaining there was a couple of wonky cuts bc he had to do it by hand bc there's had broken and not been replaced. (Also great guy and he did a great job) Your employees need to have the proper equipment to do their jobs efficiently. It's inexcusable for any meat department to not have a bone saw, even the dumpy market by me has one.
If you're going to this store to redeem a coupon you've already redeemed at another Kroger, don't bother doing so. I went in to get some more Coca-Colas as part of the system wide promotion and not only did the coupon not work, but the old man at the self checkout was one of the rudest Kroger representatives I've ever had the pleasure to deal with when he tried to fix the issue and his associate that he called upon wasn't much better. The coupon CLEARLY states that it can be used again, as stated in the photo I'm providing, but they (both the lady and the old man) told me, and I quote "once it's been redeemed, it can't be used anymore." I used the Plus card that had the digital coupon on it. The extra $2 that I ended up paying for the soda isn't going to break my wallet, because soda is a want, but this store was NOT hurting for their Coca-Cola 2 liter stock, as there was at least 8 FULL rows of them on the sales floor and 2 less that I WAS going to buy at sales price wasn't going to kill them. If I had trouble with this, what's stopping another customer TODAY from experiencing the same exact circumstance?
They have a Pokémon vending machine here. The went to get groceries and check it, and a worker came up and said they just bought a 151 booster bundle from it. I find it very unprofessional that the workers can sit there and check the machine all day. They have signs posted to to hang around and check the machine all day, but the workers can??? Management please stop this from happening so the public and your paying customers have a chance….
