Hello my names Josh I’m a whole lot more of a fix it your self kind of Person. My Option for my Review of the Lectric Bike Co out of Arizona. Is a plus to why I love to Ride my E bike. But my #1 reason to explain why I think the E bike I own may be Defective. Please refer to the Pictures I Submitted with this Review. I would like to have 100% knowing that. Going out on a Beautiful ride downtown where I’ve spent $1000+ dollars. For the bike pedals slip off or the crank is defective. Most of all I have never had to replace these parts so many times before. I’m the Original owner. And I’ve been riding Commuting and going to WalMart plus any where else in my City. I love my E Bike. I love the Lectric E Bike Co. Thank you also I’ve accomplished +2600 miles on my Xp Lite 1st generation. The Pedal was Completely Separated from the whole bike itself while in Motion Moving above +15mph. .
I ordered 2 bikes at once. Both experienced damage during shipping. They ship these 90 pound xp4 bikes in thin light duty boxes that cannot hold up to that heavy bike moving around. I expressed my concerns, sent pictures and was told they would be forwarded to the supervisor. I got nothin. I deserved a response of some sort. Thankfully I was able to hide most scuffs with a strategically placed pinstripe. Im concerned the bike was hit hard enough that damage may reveal itself later. I guess I deal with that when it happens. Make your own case. If I could do it over Id probably avoid buying something like this online and avoid the shipping hassle. A response reassuring me they have my back if something is wrong would have meant a lot. Not sure I care for how this company does business.
A Commuter's Review after 2000 miles on the Lectric ONE This review is for anyone considering the Lectric ONE. To put it simply: buy it. This bike is worth every penny and has completely replaced my car for my daily commute. I love riding it so much that it makes me look forward to going to work. Why I Chose the Lectric ONE As a former bus driver who hadn't ridden a bike in 30 years, I spent a lot of time researching e-bikes. My checklist was simple: I needed something reliable, safe, easy to ride, and built for commuting long distances. The Lectric ONE stood out because of its carbon belt drive, which meant no messy chains and little to no maintenance. It also featured automatic shifting, a huge plus for someone who swore off constant gear changes after driving a stick shift in L.A. traffic. My Riding Experience The bike arrived a week after I ordered it and was easy to assemble, taking me only 20 minutes. My first ride was incredibly smooth. The Smart Shift system works seamlessly—you simply stop pedaling for a second and it automatically shifts. The handling is grounded, the brakes are tight, and as someone with no bike experience, I felt a ton of confidence. I ride 32 miles a day, and the battery life has been excellent. On full pedal assist (PAS 5), I get 25–30 miles per charge. On lower settings, I can get up to 60 miles. The only real drawback is the lack of suspension, which means you feel every pothole. I highly recommend getting a suspension seat post and a cushy saddle to make your commute more comfortable. I've had a couple of crashes, but thanks to wearing a helmet and the bike’s tough build, both the bike and I held up well. After each crash, Lectric’s customer service was phenomenal, sending me all the replacement parts I needed for free. Final Thoughts The Lectric ONE is an incredibly reliable, easy-to-use e-bike that can genuinely replace a car for around-town commuting. While it's not a mountain bike and won't handle rough trails well, you won't find a better bike for paved roads and daily commutes at this price. This bike has been life-changing, and I don’t think you'll be disappointed if you decide to get one.
UPDATE 6/18 i was notified a charger would be sent to me. Today, 6/30 im notified its out for delivery. 12 days. If lectric bike was concerned about my situation they would have expedited the charger. So more than a month after I ordered it, I’ll have the complete order and will be able to charge its battery. It’s been a very unpleasant experience. —- I ordered a trike on 5-27-25, and quickly received an email with a delivery date of june 2. However, the day was bogus and lectric bike knew it was bogus. The trike was actually delivered 6-13. The box was heavily damaged and the battery charger was missing. I wrote LB in 6-14 and recvd a response 6-15 stating the pictures i sent were missing. I reset the hotos and as of today, 6-17, i have heard nothing else from LB. I have had the trike for 5 days now, and cannot charge the battery. I spent ten minutes on hold for customer service and didn’t speak with anyone. Apparently lectric bike is happy to take my money and offer pitiful customer service. I don’t aver that the damaged box is LBs fault, I don’t suppose it is unless they packed it poorly. Given how LB has dealt with me thus far I think it’s possible that they packed it so that it was easily damaged in shipping. I can’t hold them responsible for shipping delays but I do hold them responsible for sending me a estimated delivery date they knew was impossible and bogus. I’m at the point im ready to demand a refund and send it back to them. UPDATE 6/26/25 I still haven’t received a battery charger, and I found no instructions on how to power up the bike. I finally found a YouTube video on the first ride, and I discovered a cable that LB ships unconnected. Nothing that came with the bike prepared me for this. LB website states five star customer service - I beg to differ. After finally establishing contact, it took two weeks for LB to tell me a charger was being sent to me, but it has not arrived. I finally found out with no assist from LB that a cable needed to be connected, then I could power up the bike. After my first ride, I can say im impressed with the trike. It easily climbs a steep hill in my yard and one in the road in front of my house. So, so far as the trike goes, im impressed. But all other aspects of this transaction have been very poorly done. They’re slow to respond to a call or email. Shipping the charger has taken weeks, and it still hasn’t arrived. 4 weeks after ordering the trike I took the first ride, inly after finding a helpful video on my own. My brother, who has talked about wanting a trike, rode mine today and stated he is going to buy one himself - but not from Lectric Bike. Customer service has been extremely lacking. I hope my experience with LB is not typical, but if you want an electric bike, consider another manufacturer. If you need customer service, you can’t count on LB. I give 2 stars only because it did arrive intact and I do like the product. Otherwise, this would be a one star review. Oh, by the way - while the website claims top notch customer service and reviews, there is no option on the website to leave a review. All of the reviews i saw on the website were great reviews, but where did they come from? Does LB cherry pick good reviews and post on their website? Maybe so. Consider another brand. ——— Think carefully before purchasing anything from Lectric Bike. They have handled my transaction very poorly. I give a 2 star rating only because the trike did arrive and appears to be complete and undamaged other than the missing charger. I don’t reccommend Lectric bike at all.
After a bad accident resulting in injury to myself, and my XP 3.0, I was left not only with a battered rib cage, but a broken front break handle. I reached out to Lectric customer service via email and Christian was awesome! Great customer service is seemingly hard to come by these days but, Christian did not disappoint. After collecting information about my bike, he was able to assist me and offered to send a replacement front break assembly! In our 30’s, these bikes make my husband and I feel like kids again. They are so much fun! Easy to operate and work well on off road trails as well as bike paths. I would recommend these bikes to anyone looking for a quaility affordable e-bike. You will not be disappointed! Bike owned: XP 3.0 Black E-Bike (Step Through)
We have had 2 - Lectric Xpress 750 Step-Thru e-bikes since April and love them. Range is great and the ride is very comfortable. On one of the bikes we noticed that one of the acorn nuts on the comfort seat spring had unscrewed and dropped off. We contacted Lectric e-bike via their email for a new nut and in less than two hours we have a new seat being shipped free. This has been an excellent experience so far and now we know they stand behind their products. Very happy with Lectric eBikes!
They're great at targeting non-cyclists with false advertising about their bikes, support team, and battery range promises. If you write into them about battery issues in particular, they will do everything in their power to get you to buy $500 new batteries instead of honoring their warranty. I have the long range edition batteries advertised at 170 mile range at PAS 1 pedaling, I've never gotten more than 80 miles of range and their team admitted that my batteries are only charging to about 70% capacity. They have production line issues with their wheels too. I've taken their wheels to wheel specialists and they've told me they're not built well, and are prone to broken spokes even if you're just riding flat areas. Out of my four bikes that I've had for 15 years, my Lectric cargo bike is the only one that has ever had multiple broken spokes within the first couple hundred miles. Stay away, the short term benefits of their price do not outweigh the terrible service. If you're looking for budget-friendly, get an Aventon, they have basically the same options but actually have bike mechanics who put everything together properly. Don't even get me started on the Lectric folding stems, those things are death traps. Go look at their Better Business Bureau complaints before you consider buying one of Lectric's bikes. To the response from Lectric: I didn't know that your warranty was only 7 months and not the year you advertise. March 2025 is when I received the bike, you're looking at the wrong order. Super cool of y'all to not stand by your product. ————— 11/4 Lectric reached out and offered to replace the batteries after much back and forth.
