Lumina Solar

My experience with going solar was going totally south until I talked to Courtney @ Lumina Solar. She explained things that I could understand and listened to what I wanted. It is totally amazing to me how other solar companies told me what I wanted! I have had numerous questions over the past couple of months and every time I contact her, she is on it! Lumina Solar was quick to schedule a meeting and when Gabriel arrived, he was very friendly, knowledgeable of the solar system. He started as an installer and worked his way up, which was comforting, knowing that he wasn't just saying whatever. Anyhow... Gabriel answered all of our questions, explained the process and what to expect. When the techs arrived to install the panels, they were very friendly, explained what and how things would go over the 2 day process. Everything was was smooth, the techs made sure they cleaned everything up once finished, the electrician gave me a detailed walk through of what he did and how to operate the power. The only "hold up" was waiting on SMECO to do their inspections, meter changes and paperwork. Would I recommend Lumina Solar????? YES Ask for Gabriel when scheduling a consultation.

Lumina Solar was a fantastic company to work with! The panels and inverters are all top of the line and Lumina offers them at a very competitive price. Gabriel, our representative, was excellent and his communication was prompt, clear, and thorough. He was instrumental in helping us secure a competitive solar loan rate and continued to support us throughout the entire installation process. We appreciated the regular updates and the help we received in understanding tax rebates, how to use the enphase app, and warranty details. Highly recommended!

Thank you Lumina, Your company has been stellar through the entire process of helping me be powered by the sun. Gabriel Shabtai, my solar planner, was a delight through the entire process. He was impressively adept at virtual technology. I am a virtual teacher, he was good. He was also great at explaining how the system works, so I, the homeowner could understand the concept of how solar works and he was not hard sell at all. As plans were laid he worked through the Anne Arundel County approval system, which is not easy task. He kept me up to date on the entire process but was briefly delayed with the birth of his baby, Shiloh. But up it went and now I am fully powers. My installers were a delight as well. Friendly, helpful and did their job well. Tyler Scheck was very focused on getting the electrical done well. And answered my many questions as the system was installed. Did a lot of research before landing on Lumina as the company to go solar with. And the reviews were correct! Our representative Courtney was incredibly helpful and walked us through all our questions as we went through the process. Installation went smoothly and very happy with the production of the system so far! Would definitely recommend Lumina to anyone considering solar.

5 stars not enough for this company and its lovely employees. I want to shout out about Bethany Fuller, never saw her, or met her. Only deal with her by using emails. She is extremely professional, helpful and kind. I just bought a house in Aldie and Lumina Solar manages it. I didn’t know anything and never had before. But Bethany always followed up, even before I moved in. Checked in several times, sometimes can’t answer but still she never gave up. Any questions I have , she answered within minutes and followed up every details. It’s a big value to have an employee like her. I will recommend to everyone. Thanks so much again Bethany

I would recommend Lumina to anyone considering a solar panel installation. I am very pleased with Lumina Solar and the job they did to design and install solar panels at my home. Specifically (a) the system design was well-motivated and explained to me, (b) the installation crew did a great job, (c) Lumina identified and replaced a micro-inverter soon after the installation even though the system was performing within its promised rate, (d) Lumina's support for the installation's paperwork aspects was excellent, (e) Lumina's choice for monitor and control (using Enphase) works really well, including interoperation with the well-known "Home Assistant" DIY home automation software.
