MAA Heritage Park

A bit expensive if you ask me.... but where I lived it was quiet and never had any issues. Main reason for only 4 stars is my HVAC unit was dated 1976. I did not even know they made them back then. If you live here expect your energy bill to be high due to these incredibly outdated units

Genuinely had a good living experience, maintenance was fast and the front office ladies were nice. However, at move out, they insisted on charging us a little over $500 worth of carpet damage due to "not being comfortable with moving someone in with the carpet in that condition". The carpet was supposedly new when we moved in in 2023. We had no pets, didn't wear shoes in the house, and generally only caused normal wear and tear in the two years we were there. I have pictures and videos to prove it, but they know I won't hire a lawyer. The evidence they gave were spots from our bedframe indented into the carpet (guess we should've had the mattress on the floor, our bad), a spot outside the kitchen that had been flattened due to *normal walking on it*, and a spot that had been flattened from use of an office chair (honestly fair, should've had a mat). It's a pretty frustrating and shady business tactic when multiple general contractors have looked at the pictures I presented and gave every indication the carpet was fine. We never missed rent, didn't smoke, and generally were model tenants. Really leaves a bad taste in our mouths for what was an otherwise positive experience.

I've been living here for about a month now, and I've got to say I love the place! Nice amenities. Ashleigh was a huge help with my whole move in process, and it went very smoothly. I'm excited about my stay here, and what's to come!

Ashleigh in the Leasing Office was so sweet, informative and helpful! She answered all of our questions and helped us through each step so kindly. The grounds and buildings are so well taken care of. I searched many apartments in the area and can confidently say MAA is top notch. The move in process was so easy and I am so excited to start my journey in my beautiful new home! My partner and I stayed at this apartment for around one year while we finished our undergrad at UTC. It was a great price, had good amenities, huge complex where walking your dog was easy compared to other apartments. Maintenance and the upkeep of the grounds were great for the most part...and all of the front office workers were lovely. We loved our apartment for the most part and we do miss it, however we were one of the rooms who were hit with cockroaches. Before, we had never dealt with them but it can be traumatizing seeing several in a couple of nights. Pest control came several times and the problem would be mitigated but they would come back. More than likely a neighbor had them, however with the amount I killed I would say it was an infestation. To us that was the major con of this place and if we hadn't dealt with that it would be 5 stars;

I moved into this complex in July and I've been incredibly pleased with the accomodations as well as the staff. It has been such a pleasure working with Jordan from the time she showed me the apartment until signing the lease. She made the process of renting so easy and convenient. She is efficient, professional and incredibly friendly. At any point that I have had a question or concerns, she has responded in a timely fashion and addresses and resolves the issue at hand. The maintenance staff deserves big kudos as well. They are always on it! Grounds are always kept up, and clean and lovely landscape. I would recommend renting here to anyone.

Haven’t had any issues that maintenance couldn’t fix; and it is done so in a timely manner each time I request it. Jordan in the office is a wonderful help in guiding anyone through the moving process or any issues that may arise in living there. If I have any issues I feel good being able to talk to Jordan about them!
