What a fantastic company! They immediately scheduled a free in-home consult for my re-wiring project. Estimator was able to visit just 2 days after I submitted my initial request. He spent over two hours exploring the house to understand the layout and provide a detailed plan to creatively solve our issue. I received a detailed quote the following day. Electricians were scheduled to do the work two days after I signed the contract. They re-wired five separate rooms with minimal intrusion into the drywall, and were careful to remove sections in a manner that they could easily be re-set when we patch it back up. Installers devised a more elegant solution than the initial plan, and completed the work in about half the time anticipated. Main Stream was a pleasure to work with. Excellent customer service start to finish, great communication from the jump to answering questions after we paid. Their office staff are friendly and responsive, I received timely updates and notifications via email and sms, and the technicians were extremely professional and generous with their time/expertise. Both estimator and installers went out of their way to offer solutions in a cost effective manner (without sacrificing quality). No pressure to upsell us on work beyond what we needed. I am eager to recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work.

My Main Contractor! I 1st met Shane & his crew when my commercial space in Morgan Hill was being readied for city inspection. If it wasn't for their expertise & involvement with the project we would've never satisfied the City/State requirements. I have since used them for several other jobs & they are one of the most reliable, dependable, communicative, & quality contractors that I've ever had the pleasure of working with. For my electrical needs, they are the ONLY contractor I'd consider using!!!! I highly recommend them...

Been using Mainstream for about 8 years now. In each of our houses and for every project. Even used them for a couple of hotels I managed. Always great guys that come out when Shane isn't there himself. However it it's a big job or a complicated one you can usually be assured the owner will be around also. Always has a great team of guys and they do consistently good work. Clean up and always pay attention to the details. Great company and amazing management! Can't go wrong when you use MainStream Electric!

The electricians arrived promptly and introduced themselves. They then proceeded to inspect the faulty outlets and found the issue. Rick explained what his proposed solution is and the Apprentice and he started their work. They finished fairly quickly and cleaned up. Thankful for their knowledge and we’re happy to be able To use out outlets again. Thank you!

I either had a ghost or an electrical problem. I decided before I reach out to my church I would reach out to an electrician to find the source of my flashing lights, dimming lights and the constant replacement of light bulbs. I have an older house (30yrs) and we have always had issues with fuse going out when we had too many things plugged in. The funny thing was it wasn't always in the same room. I did some research, read some reviews and called a few people. Main Street Electric was the only company who answered and was professional. Sad to see so many companies who don't know how to answer the phone. I explained all my issues. I had someone out within two days. They were great. We were able to detect the main box issues as well as running new lines to prevent overload. The price was reasonable and the gentleman was very friendly. For now, my church is off the hook - no ghost!

Hired company to install a controller for existing LED Tape. Technician did not realize that LED Tape already had electric connected to it (though I repeated it at least four times) and installed additional DC voltage going into the RGB, likely shorting the LED tapes altogether. Main Stream was not able to finish job just stating "tape probably is faulty." Very nice and courteous guys, but just didn't know enough about installing controllers for LED Tapes.
