I still have panels that do not work. Due to the initial installation. The techs wired the panel phase to ground. Also left majority of the connections loose. They are now not honoring my warranty. Do not use this company.

We had an unfortunate experience with Mega Solar. They botched the installation and completely destroyed the integrity of our roof, causing severe water damage inside the house from rain. We struggled to maintain consistent communication with their team to resolve the issue, and ultimately decided to find another roofing company to fix the problem they caused.

The absolute worst home improvement experience of my life, and one of the worst interactions I have ever had with a so-called business. This seems to be some fly by night operation. They incorrectly installed the backup system and it does not work, they dont monitor, they caused a roof leak which took months of arguing back and forth to get anything done and then they stiffed me on remedial work. The communications I received from the owner were some of the most bizarre emails I have ever received. The guy was all over the place doing backflips to get out of fixing the issue. Hire literally anyone else to put up your solar. Dishonest owner, bad workmanship.

There is a good reason that Mega has so many 5-star reviews. They did a great job installing my system. I am very happy with it. I would give them 5 stars for that too. The problem is…that is not where their responsibility ends. They are responsible for monitoring your system to make sure it’s functioning at all times. It’s in their contract. In fact, when there is a problem, the only people who are warned about it are at Mega. The homeowner never gets a warning. So imagine my shock when I got a $2000+ electricity bill, and checked to find out that my inverter had stopped working 3 months earlier. Where was the monitoring? The warnings? Ok…mistake made. Just replace my inverter and cover the cost of my electricity bill. Yeah…no. They gave me a new inverter, but that’s where they think their responsibility ends. After weeks and months of emails and phone calls, and giving Mega every chance to make this right. They finally offered me 25% of the bill amount. Nope…not right. Entirely their fault. Then silence. Nothing from them. No response at all. So, these reviews I’m leaving are my only recourse and the only way to let others know about Mega Solar. Anyone who wants more info…reach out to me. I have the email chain and the data from my SolarEdge monitoring app to back up my story.

I do not recommend this solar company. It is run on the fly, with little to no communication. People will randomly appear on your property, and they do not speak English, so there is no way to know what is going on. Communication with the owner is very little and cannot be relied upon. They showed up one day out of the blue to install our solar and worked past 10:00 PM. We had no idea what was going on. Then they left without instructions for how to run the solar we had purchased. It took months and the BBB to get us the information on how to monitor our solar that we had purchased. Steer clear.

Thank you Mega Solar for the great work, after my installation I had to write a review. They did an amazing job on my roof, my wife and myself are extremely happy with the final result. Entire staff was very friendly and professional, installers where very knowledgeable, clean and went above and beyond to ensure our installation was perfect. I just recommended my brother in law to get his roof done with them, thank you everybody at Mega solar you guys are great.

All I can say is fantastic! They did a fantastic job installing my panels. When they came to give me a quote it was very reasonable. They also gave me great financing options. I would highly recommend these guys.
