It's kinda like living in a war zone but there's a Dollar General, a Krystal's, and a coin laundry place around the corner. I like the location and access to I-24, but can't imagine someone with kids trying to live in Mill Town. We have a garage and a barricaded courtyard. The chains on outdoor furniture and grills hold. We replaced all the outdoor lights with floodlight cameras. Several new Mill Town homes have been hit by crossfire from shootouts with windows and doors shot out. Those without garages have their cars stolen or broken into every month. "Mill Town" needs to put up security cameras and hire off-duty officers. I know that doesn't look good while trying to pre-sell million dollar condos in an abandoned mill on Dodds Avenue next to some of the worst public schools in the state– but real residents are living in this Mill Town project. The gunshots and walking over broken glass in the parking lots gets old. Developers only have to sell the homes once and never have to live here, they tell renters to move if they're sick of the violence and crime– but if that's what sells million dollar condos on Dodds Ave, you guys do you.

Mill Town is an incredible place to live, play and work. If you love and support Chattanooga, then love and support Mill Town because the renaissance spirit of Chattanooga is alive and well at Mill Town. Tremendous energy, passion, and entrepreneurial vision are transforming what was once industrial blight into a thriving community. What's happening before our very eyes is a fascinating microcosm of the same renaissance spirit that has been transforming Chattanooga over the last few decades. A special shout-out to Generation Property Management. Your heart for your tenants is so evident as you labor to create a safe, lovely, and inviting place to benefit all of us. Your task is often a thankless one. Keep up the good work. The vast majority of us are quietly grateful. To the builders, Dwell, Collier, and Parkside: you are building a lovely, safe, vibrant and strong community. Keep it up. We love seeing the progress! It's thrilling to see more and more neighbors call Mill Town "home".

My wife and I purchased a home in Mill Town as well as I run a business out of Milltown. I am blow away the progress this community has made. The added police presence for our safety, the constant improvements in what was previously run down houses full of crime, and the progress at the mill!! I am honestly confused when I read the bad reviews as my neighbors rave about how much they love this place. I live here, and love it. Glad to be in MT.

I just moved into a townhouse in mill town and have Generation Property Management as my landlord . I really like this area there is still a lot of development going on and I think once the commercial / retail opens up here it's just going to take off . The only thing I wish is that there was a community pool we could join . Generation Property Management made my move here simple and seamless . The answered all of my questions , help me secure offsite storage at an extremely reasonable rate ! The one issue I have , and this has nothing to do with Generation, is the dog park at the center of my community doesn't have any gates at any of the corners therefore you can't take your dog off their leash and let them play and run . I am hopeful that will be rectified soon . Move down here early and while you can . This is going to be the It neighborhood to live in here soon .

Mill Town is a phenomenal development in an area of town that has need reshaping and rebuilding for many decades. While there are a handful of negative or low scoring reviews, the majority here agree, Mill Town is indeed wonderful. Mill Town was needed and necessary for the future growth of East Main Street. It supplies for those needing and desiring a home in the heart of a revitalized area, homes that range in price and size. There was nothing happening at this end of Main Street before Mill Town began to redevelop the area and now there are wonderful coffee shops, restaurants and shops to enjoy and spend time in. While there might be a few issues here or there, folks ought to know that at the heart of Mill Town is a desire to redeem what was lost, redeem urban decay and build back what was a thriving, welcoming community of diverse and unique people. Chattanooga is growing leaps and bounds, not everyone is going to appreciate the newness, the change, but if you spend any amount of time looking for the negative you'll find. But if you look for what's good, what's honest and true you'll find a great place to be is Mill Town. 5 Stars!

I would not recommend moving here to my worst enemy. It is awful. The crime is so bad, the buildings are built very poorly and cheaply, and the property management running Milltown is the worst part of all. It may take you weeks to get a hold of anyone, including maintenance so you better pray nothing goes wrong. The management is rude, unprofessional, and just straight up liars. We had a "construction discount" when moving in and were supposed to have it for 3 months. Well 6 months later we still had it and assumed it was just because construction was still very active. Then all of the sudden we were paying all of this money back with no warning, no sorry, and definitely no accountability on the managements part. We tried to fight this pulling up our lease and old text messages from someone in management here (his name was Keith) and all we got was very rude responses. Keith was very very unprofessional many times. So again, I would not recommend this place to anyone.
