New Wave Energy

Wave energy for me c was a GREAT WASTE OF MONEY! I am elderly and on a fixed income. So I look for any way to save. I eat one time a day to save. I leave my temp in my house 79 to 80 degree to try to save. So when the young man knocked on my door with a savings through wave energy I thought wonderful! Well buyer beware!!!! I paid $59.99 per month for gas I never used. Another company came by to try to save me some money. When I got my bill for him he showed me where WAVE ENERGY was ripping me off. He let me know that I don't use any gas through spring and summer ZERO gas. Yet I pay wave energy 59.99 each month anyway!!@ Can you say SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! Then if that isn't enough they send you a $50. Gift card I was never able to access or use. So in a nutshell shell o would worn you to beware of WAVE ENERGY! I also saw a website in Sacramento California called WAVE ENERGY SCAM. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS SCAM

This is more a review of the customer service rep Jessica than the company. I have worked with Jessica multiple times and the assistance she gave me was second to none. She was able to work with me in order to save me a LOT of money. I am currently due to renew my "right to compare" and although New Waves price is higher than others, I am putting them towards the top of my list solely based on my customer service experience (multiple times). When i called to "negotiate", my rep was (once again) Jessica and she remembered me. The only other company i get service like this with is NJM! Thank you, Jessica. I hope your supervisor reads these reviews!

I came upon their flashy website while searching for both gas & electric plans. Unfortunately their prices are higher than I'm paying for each now, unless I joined a 1-month plan (or month-to-month). So goodbye, though the website is above average for an energy broker.

Be aware that if their wholesale electric cost goes up they will teminate your contract, the reason they gave me. Well our cost went up so it would have been bad for the company to keep you as a customer.

This scummy company keeps calling my home and business. It's like they spawn new phone numbers to consistently harass people. Terrible business practices i had to block 2 phone number within a 5 minute window.

Our bill went from $1200 a month to over $5000 a month. The salesman said our bill would be lowered by $400 a month, This was not true. We have closed our business because of New Wave Energy.

Got a letter saying 'New Wave Energy has elected to end its contract with you on your first scheduled meter reading.' Tried calling 5 times no phones being answered. Finally got through the following week. New Wave agent said it was JCP&L that dropped me from their service, and my rate will jump up for April and nothing can be done till the following month. This is just pure madness.
