Office Depot

I would say something about this place.. but there was nothing.. no employee interactions.. just customers wandering around.. the phone rang.. I saw a person sitting in the office.. heard it at the counter (no one there) looked at the checkout (no one there) I’ve never been in a big box store and never had such an awkward experience

I was in looking for a printer and needed alot of help. Evan was awesome! He was extremely helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. He gets 20 stars! I had so many issues with being undecided and he never once got irritated or snappy. Always smiling always up beat. He helped me set up a business account and when I had issues and had to go back He helped again right away and was fast and efficient. All the staff here are great but he is by far the best!

This place has everything! Great selection, clean store. Awesome Staff! 🙂

Well, the employees try hard to please the customers. That's the best thing about this place. Been there 4 times attempting to use their copy/print/scan services. Yesterday I got disconnected from their wifi service 8 times in a row. I was attempting to send an email from my personal account to the office depot account so that I could print some attachments. I started the email, and typed everything in. Then when I would try to attach something, it would just spin and spin and never be able to attach, then disconnect from the Wi-Fi. Then I would have to reconnect to wifi. Then retype a new email as it didn't save a draft. I finally left in disgust. The employee at the copy station recommended I try to email from home instead as my home Wi-Fi would probably work better. Said that the big computers they have in their back area, where they produce orders, compete for the Wi-Fi all the time and people always get disconnected. Plus they charge $1.50 per page to send a fax. It would have been $43.50 to fax my 29 pages. Come on Office Depot, upgrade your service - this is pathetic! Plus your entrance looks really run down and ragged, you need to put new carpeting in.

While I want to write a lower review I want to give credit where it is deserved. I ordered a desk for pick up at the store because their inventory said they had it on hand. I tore the old one out and got the area ready for the new one and went back into my office to find an email stating that there was a problem with my order. I called the store they said they only had a part of the desk the other part was the wrong color. I explained to them what a problem this was for me as I no longer had a desk for an employee initially the rep was having trouble processing the urgency of the situation and the fact that their systems put me in this predicament and their answer was sorry we refunded you we can order one and it can be here in a week. Once we ran through the situation a couple of times I think the situation became clear and he began working with their warehouse to try and see if they could get one on the truck that was enroute to Sioux Falls later that night. All I was asking for was someone to try and solve a problem. At first all I got was apologies.

Absolutely the worst service I have had. I needed help with a printout off of my email. The guy treated me like I was dumb and stared at me. I clearly will not go back thumbs down
