My husband and I always get the best customer service when we go to Paul's Ace Hardware. The people always greet us.They are very polite, very kind, very nice, very helpful. Their customer service is A++. Since I am an educator, I always grade everything!
Tim and Dave super helpful! Gave me extra tips and told me about further products I might need for my project. Super friendly and always helpful. Easy to find someone and ask questions.
I just have to tell share about the wonderful experience my husband and I had last week with Carole F.. In this day of waning customer service she went above and beyond and I not only wrote to the manager but sent in a link to corporate, and NOW I AM TELLING YOU! I made the mistake of purchasing an art table on Facebook Marketplace without opening the box. Apparently it had been returned and all the hardware was missing. I planned on giving it to our two granddaughters who are 2 and 3. It was a fabulous art table and I was so disappointed!! I contacted the seller, and while she didn't have the same table, she gave me another set, but it was just a table and two chairs. I went online to show Carole what the table looked like after she spent time going over the diagrams of the hardware that was missing and converting everything from metric to US. When my husband saw the table on sale for $75 he told me that hardware would cost at least $40 and some of it we were "jury rigging" to get it to fit because of the odd dimensions. Carole graciously agreed. We felt horrible after taking so much of her time PLUS she had to put everything back where it came from. She was the ABSOLUTE BEST and I will now look for her everytime we come into Ace Hardware. She is AMAZZZING and I just thought somebody needed to know!! ASK FOR CAROLE!! Via Linda & FLW!
Staff is always helpful, whether it’s the person at register greeting you and offering help or the staff in the store guiding you to what you want and offering more help than that if you need it. Quick trip in and out and on my way home.
Great store that is well stocked with a VERY helpful staff that takes great care of customer needs. It is always a pleasure visiting my local ACE hardware!
98% of the time spot on, so I am just reading this one visit. I think I like dealing with the older more experienced staff in the store. Something so simple as a single piece of sandpaper I wanted, they couldn’t make happen for me. They have single sheets of sandpaper, which is fantastic, and I got a few, but the one I wanted in addition, was not available. It was available in a full 10 pack, but they would not break it open to allow for a single sheet. Two young managers were there, but I think from the service perspective, the regular staff may have made it happen for me. Either way, I guess I understand if they didn’t want to break open that package even though they had About Eight packages of them. I guess I just expected a little bit more for something so small. Cashier gal was great did try to explain to me, so I thoroughly understood and respectfully disagreed with the decision Oh my, what is going on with Paul’s Ace Hardware on Villa Linda. Today is April 5 and due to my less stellar experience last week I said I’m gonna give it another shot. And keep in mind. I’ve been coming here for a long time sporadically, but still my go to Ace this time we were getting a single paint sample and the gentleman repeatedly told me the sample was only five dollars fine. We got the sample got to the register and it rung up as 6.99. When we told the gentleman that it was supposed to be five dollars he said, "well it rung up as 6.99".. at that point we went and found the gentleman who told us it was five dollars and he said "oh yeah, the Benjamin Moore is actually $6.99. And the others are $5.99 But if you like we’ll give you a discount." So we did head back to the register and they gave us a huge 10% discount which was a whopping $.70. Mind you it is not about the dollars and cents, but what we were told and how it was handled at the register from a customer service perspective. Not a care by the cashier in the world About what we said, and what we were quoted. Call me crazy, but why would’ve done would’ve been "well. They mis quoted you and it is actually 6.99, but since there was some miscommunication absolutely will honor the five dollars. This type of customer service, which I used to come to expect at this Ace Hardware store is just gone for some reason. There used to be a really tall blonde gal who was the manager, who was great, haven’t seen her in a while, but regardless, I gave them a second chance and they just fell flat. Hopefully they’ll turn it around at some point. Evidently, they are having staffing issues according to the gentleman cashier we had as well. Somehow, I don’t think that’s any of my business. Just trying to be constructive with this post.
Amazing customer service, they greet you right when you walk in and assisted with getting what you came in looking for. They have a large selection of tools and products for different uses, Marc even helped with product knowledge.
