PODS Moving & Storage

I'm writing this review specifically in appreciation of the POD driver Eric Mazariegos. He was punctual when he dropped off my POD. He also stayed back to ensure I could open the shutter, which happened to be jammed due to my stuff leaning on it on the inside. He exerted himself considerably, and even tilted the POD until the stuff got dislodged, and we could open the shutter. I think he went above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction and I'd like to commend him for his stellar customer service!

Jabrail at PODS Oakland provided excellent service. My POD was ready upon our arrival. He was extremely friendly and helpful. He even pulled out the extra Small POD that I had ordered in case I had too much stuff for the large POD. Even though he had not been informed. He brought waters for the movers. Made the whole process easy and comfortable. He even got my fully loaded POD moved into the Facility as soon as it was loaded. Even gave me good advice to take pictures of the contents, POD number, and Lock tag. So helpful during a stressful time.

Eric was on time, easy to work with professional and very skilled at driving his truck in my tight neighborhood and placing the POD! Thank you very much.

I have to say that I very happy with selecting PODS to help me move my stuff, they’ve all been great!! My container got dropped off yesterday on time by Eric Mazarigos who was very pleasant and helpful and he called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. I’m so thankful. I hope the second part of this move will be as great as the first. Thank you to everyone involved. Keep up the great work!!

I would not use this service at all! Communication all around was non-existent and the app being up and running was spotty at best. Container was not delivered in the window they tell you, may not be the day they tell you. There is no GPS on the actual container, and no way to talk to dispatch for location. The drivers will tell you something different than customer service, no consistency or timeliness in information. I had a 16ft container, moving from Seattle to San Francisco, door to door. Pick up driver Eric M. in San Francisco was professional, fast and actually called before he was on his way. Five stars to the driver.

Day-of PODS access was a great experience. Jabrail helped us access our very full POD (hey, they said pack it full to avoid shifting, right?). 🙂 He used his forklift to shift the contents so we could open the door, and was available while we unloaded to answer questions and offer feedback. Jabrail you’re the man! Thank you for having the POD ready before I arrived and for helping us when our key broke in the lock. It was a warm day and he even offered us two waters, which was greatly appreciated as we were digging through our contents and moving boxes. This location is outstanding and much better than our experience in Washington DC where we waited for three hours to get access to our pod while being the only people at the site.
