Quality Equipment

We are from Virginia, about 11/2 hours away from these guys at Quality Equipment in Durham. I tried to have my Honda push mower serviced in Virginia at Taylor Forbes Equipment in Farmville, Va. They were the closest Honda power Equipment place that could do warranty work on my Honda push mower. However, they refused, stating they generally do not do warranty work or service on equipment not purchased from them. I did try to purchase the mower there but they made no effort to locate the model we wanted. So, today we took our Honda mower to this Quality Equipment store in Durham. They were very friendly and professional. They realized that we had driven so far to have our issue resolved that they said they would look at it if we wanted to wait. So, we were grateful and said yes. Doing so, if no parts had to be ordered, we wouldn't have to come back another day to pick up the mower. So, we went across the street to eat a late lunch and returned in less than 1 hour and the mower was fixed. I highly recommend this business for all your home and farm equipment and service needs as well. It was well worth the trip. Great people. They went above and beyond. We will definitely be back if and when we need another lawn mower or whatever it may be. Thanks again Quality Equipment of Durham.

Great place to go for John Deere or Stihl. I always work with Justin in sales, got my backpack blower and then recently a Z930 zero turn. Love that thing! Justin was great at communicating and working with.

I had a really good experience at Quality Equipment Durham. I brought my mower in for work, instead of charging me an arm and a leg, he tested it our, messed with the air filter, and as soon as he removed it it started right up... solution = a $5 air filter that he unfortunately didn't have at the shop, but Amazon did. Anyhow, would have been very easy to charge me for this, they refused. I'm in the market for a riding mower, I'll be back because of this. Good work!

Update: Mr. Mike just made it right (8/7/2024). Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us and correcting the problem. Service department is a SCAM AND RIP OFF! We brought our lawnmower here because of a warranty. They had us thinking everything was covered under warranty then we go pick it up. All of sudden we owe $161.00. Nobody never called and stated that what was wrong with it wasn’t covered under warranty and asked if we still wanted them to repair it. YOU ALL KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS WRONG!!!!!!!!

Ryan - Cant thank you enough for helping me find the part I needed for my old mower. I searched for weeks and had multiple conversations without luck before I called Quality Equipment in Durham. Ryan identified a potential part and then followed up with a call the next morning to confirm it would fit after doing more research. Excellent customer service.

I recently purchased a used X739 and could not be happier with machine and the service I was provided. Justin was extremely patient as I thoroughly evaluated the machine. I traveled from out of town and they were very accommodating as they were also dealing with issues after a devastating storm came through the area. Justin and his team made sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase and even corrected an issue before I brought it to his attention.

Quality equipment in Durham is the best. The staff there are always super helpful and friendly, the quality equipment in Burlington is the complete opposite. Everyone their acts like they do not need your business.
