Restart HVAC did a very clean installation of our new heat-pump system with air handlers and new ducting. Despite initial complications with Mitsubishi model configurations, issues were resolved professionally to meet all our expectations. Georgy and his team are very conscientious about customer satisfaction, and we can highly recommend this company.

Georgy and his team did a great job with the installation of our new heat pump system. We called 3 companies for quotes and went with Restart HVAC since Georgy provided us the most detailed quote, with costs explained, and at a reasonable price. The installation team was came on time each day and completed the work sooner than expected. The system has been working fine so far with no issues. We also received detailed info on what to expect for the city inspection and passed it with no issues. I definitely recommend Georgy for anyone that needs a new HVAC system!

PG&E determined only 1 of 3 burners to my gas furnace was igniting, but identified the problem part and referred me to hire a licensed contractor for necessary repair/service. My unit is manufactured by RUUD, so when I navigated their company website for contractors I found Restart HVAC. I called and spoke with Ardana (who was very sweet) who got the process started. They use text messaging, which was highly effective to communicate details with each other, including schedule updates. My appointment was scheduled for later that week however I received a call the very next day from Georgy asking me if I would like for him to come over now instead, which worked out even better for me! Georgy arrived in a commercial van complete with what appeared to be all the tools and equipment required to resolve any problem with an HVAC system. He confirmed the reported symptom (short-cycling), then focused on systematically taking things apart to determine the cause. Georgy isolated the suspect component, reconditioned it, and verified the system was again fully operational! He called me over to explain and demonstrate before closing the unit. I wondered if replacing the part instead would be prudent, after which Georgy offered to do so if in the unlikely event the system begins to short-cycle again. Georgy is clearly a professional and also quite knowledgeable! He was complimentary of my furnace manufacturer and explained why. He also explained why he does not advise some other common household name companies (I won't reveal which). My unit still has at least 5-10 years life but Georgy recommended what type of system to consider next. As consumers, this is invaluable advice! I did not know Restart HVAC is in the business of new installations, not service or repairs, so I am extremely grateful to Georgy to accept my request to evaluate my furnace in the first place. I will be reaching out to Georgy and Restart HVAC again if/when I need to replace my AC or furnace.

The service we got from Restart HVAC, who installed a new HVAC system with a heat pump for us, was excellent all around: *) Great explanations of the cost and performance reputation for each available choice of an HVAC system *) Clear instructions on how to handle HOA approval and the City permit application. *) All the workers showed up on time as scheduled. *) The intermediate quality check for the HVAC system was passed. *) The company made the arrangements and gave clear instructions to make sure the City inspection ran smoothly.

I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of Restart HVAC. David and his colleague did the requested work perfectly. They installed a duel fuel system for me. The work was completed quickly and on time. Thanks for the work, I was really satisfied!

Furnace was not working. Was easy to request an appointment through their website and I quickly got a call to schedule it. Was notified when the repair person Georgy was on his way. Georgy arrived on time and was very courteous, wearing shoe covers and careful with his equipment. Georgy quickly figured out the issue (faulty gas valve) and was able to replace it on the spot. Appointment was around an hour and we now have a working heater! Happy with my experience. Hopefully no more issues, but will contact them again in future if I ever have any more HVAC issues.
