Roadway Moving - NYC

It's hard to express how grateful I am to Roadway Moving. I didn't want to leave NYC so had a LOT of big feelings abt everything. But from the very first phone call (when I was getting estimates), Roadway was simply a cut above. Their care, attention, & clarity was unwavering, & I truly appreciated the transparency of their pricing. John, who oversaw our move from planning to execution, was kind, patient, & so very helpful. And Bojan & Gaga who packed & moved us made moving-day.... wait for it.... FUN. They are so great at their job & kept the day flowing quickly (though not rushed) & surprisingly joyfully. I can honestly say we enjoyed every minute. Who can say that about a move?? (& again I say, I did NOT want to leave) Thank you, Roadway! You'll be my first & only call next time. I encourage everyone reading this to of course do your due diligence, but then trust that Roadway is indeed the very best.

The professionalism from Roadway Moving amazed me. The entire team and process was smooth with clear communication. The movers were friendly and very helpful. The wrapping techniques were top notch. They took apart every piece of furniture and the assembly was perfect. They arrived on time and exactly what they were doing. The process was fast and they arrived on time. I would absolutely be using them again.

This was one of the best experiences of my life! The team was so clear about the moving plan and gave me a window of 9–10 a.m.—they arrived right at 9:15, which I appreciated since other companies I’ve used gave such large windows that made planning impossible. They got to work immediately and handled everything efficiently. None of my items were damaged, and once we arrived at my new place, they placed everything exactly where I asked. While they were moving, my husband was at work, and I was able to give my toddler my full attention—honestly such a blessing! This was my first time hiring movers, and I am officially spoiled. So grateful for the Roadway team!

I was so stressed about moving because I waiting last minute to organize it all but I am so grateful I called Roadway. With hours or first reaching out, I was all set to move. The team came and packed my two bedroom apartment in a few hours and too everything to Roadway's storage until they were able to move into my new home. They packed and handled everything with care and protected all my items and the apartment I was moving out of. It was all so seamless and easy and really made the experience of moving so much better. I would highly recommend working with Roadway, and wouldn't consider working with anyone else for my own future moves! 10/10

Was looking everywhere for a moving company that would be able to move me from NYC to LA at an affordable price and finally found Roadway. They wrapped all of my belongings so thoroughly for the move and even have QR codes put on each item to make sure everything was accounted for. It was definitely the most thorough and thoughtful moving company I have ever had. Their team was fast and professional and was able to bring everything across the country so quickly. Definitely recommend them and sill book them again for future moves!

Moved from Santa Monica to Hollywood with Roadway and had a super easy experience. We had a virtual estimate to put together an inventory checklist and estimate how many boxes I might need, then they day of the move I got a text where I could track my movers as they were on their way. Everything was Roadway from the truck, movers, to boxes. My movers were super efficient securely packing everything I had and labeled boxes as they went ("coffee machine" "cleaning supplies" "living room linens" etc) so unpacking was as straightforward as possible. I can’t say how good of a deal they were since this was my first time working with movers, but if you’re in a position where you’d rather save yourself the stress and pain of taking furniture apart, reassembling, and packing all your miscellaneous items, definitely consider Roadway and their packing service.
