After our home experienced significant storm damage in March 2025, we were overwhelmed by everything going on around us. Despite the chaos in our area, I couldn’t have dreamed of a better experience or outcome than what we received from Scott-Lee Heating & Cooling. From the moment I called, their responsiveness was incredible — it took less than 48 hours for someone to be at our doorstep. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Rick B., who I like to call our "comfort advisor." Rick was amazing from start to finish. He was not only extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of our HVAC system, but also incredibly understanding of our situation and genuinely reassuring when we needed it most. What truly made our initial experience perfect was Rick’s approach — he presented us with several replacement options clearly and thoroughly, without ever making us feel pressured. It never felt like a sales pitch; instead, it felt like we were talking with a trusted friend who genuinely cared about what was best for us. Our original installation appointment was delayed by a couple of days because the unit was backordered, but Scott-Lee Heating & Cooling was quick to notify us and stayed in consistent contact, providing regular updates. They rescheduled us for a Thursday and even called a few days before to confirm that it still worked for our schedule. On installation day, our team — Tony B. and Johnny B. — arrived bright and early at 7:00 AM as promised. These guys were serious professionals and truly the BEST we could have asked for. From the moment they arrived, they were friendly, considerate, and courteous. They got straight to work, and during the removal of our old inside unit, they noticed signs of past water damage in the basement. They took the time to show me the water lines on the drywall and explained that some mold had started growing behind the old unit. While I was beyond embarrassed and frustrated to find this out, Johnny B. immediately put my mind at ease, assuring me that he would take care of it before installing the new system. I’m so grateful that they not only found the issue but went out of their way to address it and prioritize our family’s safety. At one point, while they were taking a break for lunch, I asked if they could lock the gate so our dogs could run around. A few minutes later, I heard barking and found our beagle trying to sweet-talk Johnny and Tony into sharing their lunch! I was mortified, but they were so kind about it — even sharing stories about their own pets and laughing it off with us. Tony and Johnny finished the install early, walked us through the new system, explained the thermostat and mobile app in detail, and answered every question patiently. Now for the best part: growing up, my mom always said you can tell how much someone cares about their work by how they leave your home. That has stuck with me for over 40 years, and I can honestly say Tony and Johnny went above and beyond. They probably left my house cleaner than it was before they arrived! They swept the basement floor multiple times, made sure everything they moved was put back in place, and even used our rake to clean around the new unit outside — just in case they dropped anything. I was completely blown away by their attention to detail, professionalism, and care. Name another contractor who goes that far above and beyond — you won’t find many. In closing, I HIGHLY recommend Scott-Lee Heating & Cooling. I don’t know how their pricing compares to others, but based on the level of service, care, and professionalism we received, even if it cost a few dollars more, it would be worth every single penny. We aren’t just satisfied customers — we are thrilled with our decision and incredibly happy clients!

First of all they were so nice… Kevin did not try to oversell us with a total new system. He told us what we could do to get the upstairs to cool better. Their bid was the least and I heard good things about them like their longevity in Dt Louis. The bid was also the best and it was for a new Lennox AC. The installer Matt was so wonderful very efficient and locked up the back door like I asked. They were very prompt and did such a great job! I even got to use my Visa card to pay and no extra service fee. I also bought the maintenance plan because it was explained so well and had a lot of perks. Honestly, it was a totally excellent experience and purchase!

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3 out of 5) Scott Lee Heating & Air Conditioning installed both my heating and air units a couple of years ago. The downstairs system has worked well, but the upstairs unit has had ongoing moisture issues. This past summer I signed up for a service contract and had both units serviced for air-conditioning. During that visit, the technician said they couldn’t address the upstairs moisture problem that day but would pass notes to a manager for follow-up. I never received that follow-up, even after calling the service department a week later and being told someone would get back to me. I was told it could be handled at the fall heating check-up, but when the technician came this week, they had no knowledge of the earlier situation and said they could only service the heaters. The technician this time was polite and helpful in explaining that my downstairs heater needed a part (covered by warranty, but labor would be extra). They followed up quickly with pricing and scheduling info, which I appreciated. Overall, I’ve had mixed results — the installation and some of the service have been solid, but communication and follow-through on existing issues have been disappointing. I’m currently reconsidering whether to continue future service with this company.

5-STAR RATING !!!! WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE ! Our A/C and Heating system was 30 years old and was on its last leg. HVAC consultant ** RICK BARGE **came out to our home in Columbia Il. and explained in detail different options for us. Rick arrived on time for our appointment and was Very Pleasant and Very Genuine and Professional. Our New HVAC was installed with care and making sure removing old equipment and bringing in new equipment to our home with no issues. we had one small issue on the furnace operation. I notified Rick and he Immediately thru his service department sent out service tech Adam. the problem was resolved by Adam very quickly. i would recommend SCOTT-LEE HEATING AND COOLING COMPANY for a New HVAC System or Repair especially when you have QUALITY people working for them.

We had a great experience with the tech that came out. But we have been using them for years and he just found some problems that apparently have been going on for a while. I am a little frustrated that we have used them for so long, but just now are discovering something that has been an issue the whole time. Again, the tech we recently had was great. Super nice and informative. Taught me what I needed to know. I'm more frustrated with past experiences now.

Had a new HVAC system installed. Installers (Tony and Johnny B) were very professional. They kept us informed of their progress and when finished, showed us how to operate the new system. Basement area where new system was installed was left very neat and clean as was the outside around the new ac unit. Sales consultant Kevin was also a pleasure to work with. He took the time to explain the options and features of the different systems. He always followed up and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend Scott Lee.
