Skye Link Drone Services allowed us to change our annual roof inspections to a way that is much safer and cost less as well. Previously we had to go through extensive safety plans for the inspections and ensure that proper fall protection was provided as our metal roofs are a bit difficult to navigate. The drone inspection was quick and the reports that Skye Linke provided were very comprehensive. Communication with the Skye Link team was also very efficient. We are an independent power plant that supplies energy to a northern NV utility. We own approximately 7.5 miles of transmission line. Most of the T-line is accessible, but some has become difficult due to easement encroachment. However, even the easily accessible line is difficult to fully inspect from ground level. Skye Link Drone Service was the perfect solution to provide a detailed inspection of all transmission poles, insulators and hardware. There were several issues that were identified that would have been impossible to see from ground level that were critical. For reliability and liability sake, they'll be in our annual budget for inspections going forward.
