Green Power Energy is a local installer. Let start with saying I am extremely happy, after about a year of installation, and yes, I waited to see everything is okay before I write this. Great things: 1. They are smaller and local-so quick and to the point responsive to questions 2. Very friendly and helpful staff. 3. Great guidance from beginning to end. The App is great with every stage of the installation. 4. More cost efficient from three solid quotes we received. Few things I would like to see improved: 1. More resources/options: Tesla batteries/inverters versus other products. 2. Not necessarily the most knowledgeable on available options/products or so it appeared to me (for example didn’t make it clear how Tesla batteries were required, and didn’t make it clearer that inverters were built into those batteries) 3. Post installation follow-up weren’t quite complete. But all-in-all I would definitely go with them if I have to do it again! Very happy with the panels and overall system functionality.

When I decided to go solar, I researched companies and decided to contact Green Power Energy. Their customer service is excellent. Their representatives are friendly and helpful and will take time to explain things. They will give you as little or as much assistance as you want with regard to managing your system. At no point did they try to up-sell me, but because my roof was old I decided to include a roof replacement with the process. The new roof and the solar panel installation went seamlessly. The panels have been working well and my PSEG bills now are super low, especially during the months with more daylight.

Reliable, responsive, prompt. Austin Dow facilitated the work at every step. We weren't sure we'd make the Dec. 31 deadline before federal tax credits would stop – Austin honestly informed us of the uncertainty – but it looks like we’ll make it. The speed with which they operated was impressive. We are waiting for the final inspections by the town and PSE&G, and then we'll be good to go. Hopefully, everything will work as well as Green Power Energy has done so far.
