Let me start by saying to whoever is careful enough to come and check the reviews before you start anything with Patriot energy solutions let me tell you God is by your side and you should run run run. When they want you to do the job they will call you like every day and once they get your signature, you are dead to them. First of all they are liars to be clear they are scammers. You will not get any refrigerator, any stove and your gas bills will not go down by even a dollar. The guy who came to test my stove was sitting in the living room with us when the oven cuts fire! He said he will put I need a new one. The owner made the receptionist lied, I heard him in the background telling the receptionist to tell me I will get the stove after they finished with the insulation. After they finished sent a guy to my house to test the stove again. After a few months I never heard from them. I called and called. They gave a number of a company who is responsible for that. Called the company, the company said after maybe 12 to 15 back and forth calls they finally said to me they don’t provided stove I have to cal PES back. When I called back the owner/scammer says because they were unable to test it I am not qualify and when I mentioned my stove was okay it was while doing the first testing it cut fire, and Roger said he would put me down for a new stove his answer was that individual is no longer with the company. My hot water tank who was supposed to last 10 years stopped right after they finished with the job. To make it simple! I ended up with no stove. My hot water tank stopped working a few weeks after they went down and touch it. A bunch of holes everywhere in my house . They left me with a lot of problems instead of solutions maybe I will call them Patriot with all the problems. To make it easier for you so you know you shouldn’t do it, my gas bills and electric bills went up instead of going down. I don’t write reviews but sometimes I feel like I need to put the truth out there.

We recently completed a free home insulation through Patriot Energy Solutions. This free program is through the NYSERDA/ EMPOWER PROGRAM. The approval process went pretty quickly and it takes about a month after the approval to get the appointment to begin the work. The team was prompt and professional. The process was explained again and what it would entail. All furniture or any obstructions must be cleared to give them access to the exterior walls to pump the insulation in through holes that they cut into the walls (the size of the bottom of a Poland Springs water bottle). They reseal and plaster, but we are responsible for sanding and repainting. They make sure your home is energy efficient, also providing you with efficient light bulbs, sealing doors and windows, checking the water heater, and your dryer connections. They also provide smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. They process seams daunting, but it will be worth it in the long run when your home is energy efficient. My family and I want to give a special thank you to the team that worked on this project, the day and a half that they were here. Paul, Joe, Raj, Pedro and supervisor Gayle, who came out to check on the process. They were a great team, and they made this process go extremely well. They also cleaned up after they were done. I would recommend Patriot Energy Solutions as the company to use for this free program.

Big scam This company completely misled me and put me in financial hardship. They signed me up for two loans, one of which I can never benefit from because I am a low-income homeowner and do not owe federal taxes. They told me the "tax credit loan" would be covered once I received money back from the government, but what they failed to explain is that the federal solar tax credit is non-refundable. That means if you don’t owe taxes, you get nothing. Now I am stuck with loans for 25 years, paying interest on money that I should never have borrowed in the first place. On top of that, my Con Edison bill is still over $100 every month, so instead of saving money, I am paying over $600 every month for solar + electric combined. This company misrepresented the federal tax credit, pushed me into loans I cannot afford, and left me worse off than before I installed solar. They took advantage of me and other homeowners who don’t understand all the fine print. And now, no one answers my phone calls to solve my issues If you are considering solar through this company, stay away. They will make it sound like you’ll save money, but the reality is you could end up trapped in debt for decades, with higher bills than before.

DO NOT USE Patriot Energy (NYserda) If you're considering Patriot Energy for any NYSERDA energy work -- run the other way! This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had with any company, period. First, they send random, unqualified workers who make holes in your walls, leave them unsealed, and stink up your entire house with cigarette smoke. Communication from the company is non-existent: they show up late (if at all), their equipment constantly breaks down (I later found out my neighbors had the exact same nightmare), and they leave a bigger mess than when they started. They blew holes through my insulation and never sealed them properly -- my painter had to redo his work at MY expense. Then, they called me last minute with zero notice that my hot water tank was being delivered -- when I pushed back on the chaos, they used it against me. To make it worse, they sent inexperienced people to do the installation. They delivered a banged-up unit, left dangerous holes to the outside open, drilled through my walls to run extension cords (like a hack job), did unsafe electrical work, and left the unit dripping water. When I reported them to NYSERDA, they lied and claimed they had been "trying to reach me" -- total nonsense. I have recordings of every call proving their incompetence and attitude. Save yourself the headaches, money, and stress -- stay FAR, FAR AWAY from Patriot Energy. There are plenty of legitimate, professional companies out there doing NYSERDA work the right way. Patriot Energy is simply milking the system for profit while providing horrible, sloppy, and rude service. STAY AWAY. You've been warned! MINUS STARTS SHOULD BE THE OPTION HERE

I find patriot to be very professional and the work was done fairly quickly. The gentlemen was very skillful and very helpful in answering any questions I had. I highly recommend .

I called Patriot energy solutions because my home needed winterizing. They went above and beyond. Not only was my home winterized but they were able to service my boiler and now its running like new again. Their staff was courteous and explained everything they were doing in great detail. They have given my home new life and I could not be any more satisfied with the work they have done. I highly recommend Patriot Energy Solutions.
