Western Solar’s installation of 33 solar panels and integration with the electrical system in my home could not have been better. The L & I inspector looked at the panels and said, "Wow. Those look perfect. I cannot even see the cables. You would be surprised how much shoddy work I see. This looks excellent." The crew that did the installation was neat and tidy, friendly, and tolerant of my Labrador retriever who insisted on being involved with every step of the installation. Very safety-oriented, these guys clearly were familiar with proper belays and anchors for high-exposure work. They also matched the paint on my house so that the conduit and outdoor boxes blend in with the siding perfectly. My solar pv system is wonderful and clearly pencils out as a positive investment given my ALL-electric household. I plugged in my EV (a Volvo SUV) on a sunny day in September, and the nifty Enphase app allowed me to see that the solar panels were producing enough juice to handle the household load (EV charger included) and still kick some back to the utility. Obviously that will change as long sunny days change to short and cloudy, but it appears that on a full year basis I should easily offset my substantial electric bills unless I am putting a lot of miles on my car. Western Solar: Great company and great product and clearly a win for those who have concerns about energy consumption and the environment.

We had such a great experience with Western Solar. From the moment we first spoke with them, their only goal was to help us understand our options and give us all the information we needed. We had just bought our new home and were in the middle of moving in when we realized there was no power. There had been a storm the night before, so we didn’t think much of it and just kept unloading boxes — what else could we do? But then it happened again a few days later, and this time the power stayed out for an entire week. I was showering at work, we were eating out every night, and bundling up just to get through the nights. I finally told my husband, "We can’t live like this. We need a generator — I’m not spending winter in this house with no heat and no power." We started doing some research and asking around. A friend of mine recommended Western Solar, saying they were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and would come out to do an assessment to see if solar would even make sense for our home. That’s when we met Ian. He came to the house, took the time to have a thoughtful conversation with us about what we were hoping for, checked out our breakers, even went up on the roof. He answered every question we had — and gave us answers to the questions we didn’t even know we should be asking. He followed up with quotes for several different options and gave us the space to decide what worked best for us. At no point did we feel any pressure, and we were able to move at a pace that felt right. We are so grateful for the care, professionalism, and transparency we experienced with Western Solar. They made a stressful situation feel manageable and gave us confidence moving forward in our new home.

Western Solar has been great to work with from start to finish, from design, quotes, panel and electrical installation. All of their employees, both in the office and in the field are very nice, informative and well versed in their field. I received all of the necessary forms that needed to be signed very promptly. They kept me informed of progress with all the details which I really appreciated. We had a little hiccup with the monitoring app but they had a technician here the next work day and it has worked flawlessly since then. I very highly recommend Western Solar!!!

Cannot recommend Western Solar enough! From design to connection, they were flawless. Excellent communication throughout. Fun and enthusiastic install team. The electrician did a great job routing the wiring discreetly from the breaker box up to the roof. The 13.8 kw system's performance has exceeded expectations in its first month, with a significant portion of energy and money saved already. Being able to monitor the system through the Enphase app is a lot of fun, and the microinverters are impressively efficient. Western Solar hit it out of the park on our project. Thank you, team!

Western Solar is the best! Multiple members of my family have used them and been pleased with their work, I've used both WS and another provider and found WS far and away better. I've also been pleased with their work on a big commercial project. At my house, WS confirmed every step of the installation with me and performed it very quickly and professionally, minimizing the aesthetic impact to my house (in terms of conduit and electrical boxes), and maximizing the solar benefit.

We had our solar panels installed with Western Solar. What a Great company. First the communications was excellent. The Installers were efficient and very friendly. They cleaned up each day and were great! I would highly recommend this company for solar panels!

We had a great experience with the Western Solar team. They were responsive from day one, walking us through options and clearly laying out the process, staying in close contact as the installation date approached, and kicking things off when and how they'd predicted. During the project, the team was friendly and communicative, including walking us through and consulting on details about how and where we wanted components installed. They stayed in regular communication after the install as the county and power company did their parts of the process, to make sure everything was coming together correctly. I recommend them without reservation!
