I had the best possible experience with Sunlight and Power. My roof isn’t very good for solar so I wanted to put it on a pergola in the backyard. They helped me find one and then worked with me to get the permits and do the final install. I love how it looks and how cool they were about it. Thank you SLP!!

We hired SLP due to the our previous contractor was very non-responsive. SLP has been nothing short of a fantastic. They got our solar system back up and running, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues in a timely, and quick manner. The Team assigned to us is so responsive, highly knowledgeable, and so pleasant to work with. They explain in detail, and the reports produced during the Annual Preventative Maintenance is so precise and clear. I would highly recommend SLP.

This team is very thorough and detail oriented - as you want when having something installed on your house that is supposed to function for over 25 years. They have been around a long time and will be here when you need them. Great people and responsiveness.

From start to finish it was a informative and pleasant experience. The sales person did his best to answer all my questions but he never stepped over the boundaries of making over optimistic predictions to get the sales. When the work began I was a bit worried about my metal roof shingles (they dent/bend easily) but the roofers were professional. Installation went smoothly with the exception of finding Redwood Shingles under the metal shingles. After the system was installed I was pleasantly surprised by my savings. The biggest savings was getting me off PG&E's tier 5 gross electrical user charges. One of my power converters stopped working, Sunlight & Power came out and found a faulty converter. Sunlight & Power called the manufacturer of the converter, long story short I received a new converter. I love my solar system and I will continue to swear by Sunlight & Power's service and professional staff. Thank you Gary M. Stewart

I've already referred others to SL&P - with caveats. Your team did a good job and responded well overall to changes I asked for. So I've stressed to the people I've spoken to how important it is that they push back when, for example, somebody like Eric insists that the batteries go where he wants them to go - even after I explain to him (repeatedly) how that location doesn't fit my requirements. Other instances like that include: 2) wiring the aGate as a whole-home backup rather than partial backup, 3) fitting all panels on the upper roof rather than putting the 2 landscape panels on the roof visible from the deck and living space, 4) wiring the 2 HVAC zones as separate smart circuits (ignored), 5) installing the main cutoff within arms reach of the side stairs rather than between the batteries (ignored), 6) installing a higher capacity inverter that is capable of handling the full generation capacity (ignored).
