Photon Brothers

Photon Brothers does excellent installation work. We were impressed by Chris's knowledge during the build and we appreciated Kaitlyn's project management and follow-up afterwards. Jordan was an excellent salesman. Admittedly, some aspects of the project took a bit longer than anticipated and there is room to improve processes to speed things up, but in the end, our goal was to have a functional system and to work with good and nice people. Despite the delays, I would still recommend Photon Brothers as it's better to have quality than anything else.

About four years ago, when we moved West of Denver along the front range, we added 10 kiloWatts of solar cells. I decided then to purchase a battery for the excess solar energy so that we could use it to power our home at night. I waited for some time to watch how batteries developed and decided on getting with Photon Brothers (they got my attention through their advertising campaign). I read their reviews before I called and was impressed by what clients had to say. Photon Brothers made the process very easy. Their people were knowledgeable and superb. Their tech explained how their batteries worked (they also install solar cells). Their site survey lead was great. Their install team (Adolph and Chad) were awesome. The quality of their install was fantastic. Their office staff was great (Alexis). We were appreciative of how Photon Brothers worked out a financing approach with Elevations Credit Union. This is the mark of a superb company that thinks through what their clients need. The Return on Investment (ROI) on our solar cells and batteries (we had a Power wall 3 installed with an extra battery) is not the reason we bought the solar-battery system (each was a bit expensive). But we will in a couple of years get free electrical energy. We are delighted with the battery as we have not drawn electricity from the grid in the last week since the install: we have poured energy into it. Our sincere thanks to the Photon Brothers professionals who have done an awesome job!

My experience with Photon Brothers started with a solar system install in 2018, continues to this day and has always been overwhelmingly positive. Through a roof replacement (due to hail damage), a system expansion, and inverter replacements, Photon Brothers has always shown up and they keep showing up until everything works the way it's supposed to. I cannot say enough positive things about their field crews, it's just a pleasure to do business with this company.

We've lived with our PV system installed by Photon Brothers for just over four months, and we are pleased with it. It has supplied most of our electricity (nearly 100% on sunny days) during that period. Once installation was scheduled, it went quickly, especially after our general contractor figured out to whom to communicate in the office. Since then, though, getting a response from the Photon Brothers office has been difficult. No doubt they have been extraordinarily busy trying to wrap up projects before federal tax credits are cut off by the regime, but that doesn't excuse no response at all in two weeks. If you are diligent in record-keeping and relentless in pursuing answers, as we are, communication difficulties like this will be merely an annoyance. Be forewarned.

I've worked with Photon Brothers for my initial 7500 watt solar-panel/inverter installation, and then again to have the panels upgraded to 9848 watts, with a new Tesla inverter. Each time their work was done on-time, with no issues, roof leaks, wiring problems, and with impressive integrity. Recently I had to have my Telsa inverter replaced due to a defect issue; they diagnosed it on-line, ordered it and came out to replace it under their warranty at no charge. Again the work was done with impressive results. I'd highly recommend Photon Brothers for their workmanship and integrity; they've also been around awhile while other companies have gone out of business. I have no regrets for having hired on Photon brothers.

Photon Bros installed our solar system and just came out again to install a battery backup. Great job! On time. Fast. Professional. And very friendly and helpful. Definitely consider Photon Brothers for your solar and battery project!

Not have had a good experience with photon brothers. Attempting to warranty panels and they are not willing to go the extra mile to do what they are contracted to do. But they were quick to give me a quote with new panels I have buy and pay for their service / labor to replace panels that should be 100% warranties but they claim the company that warrantied the panels are ignoring them. And left it at that. They did not finish the install and 4 years later I complain about it and they finally finish the install to let me see my panels individually. They installed a 3g card for my inverter knowing that 3g would be gone in a year. Then offered to put in a zigby card for 1000 to fix it. Would not recommend. Maybe change if they get their act together and warranty my panels that went out.
