Excellent service from beginning to end! Freedom Solar were a pleasure to work with - honest people. We installed solar panels with Franklin batteries. It took us a long time to decide which company to go with but we chose Freedom Solar because they gave us great advice in the planning stage, showed patience as we tried to compare systems and different companies and came up with a very competitive price at the end. No overselling! Installation happens in multiple stages but they ‘held our hand’ the whole way! And they were very honest about delays they encountered. They addressed all our questions and concerns with great courtesy, timelines and competence. Highly recommend them.

Freedom Solar is everything you might want from a solar installation company! They were prompt, thoughtful, timely, patient with my questions, and budget conscious. After the installation they stayed with me through the entire process and made sure that I understood all that was taking place, how to interpret the new data from the app, and how to interact with PGE with the various options. I am not sure what else I could have asked for and am extremely pleased with our purchase.

Freedom Solar put panels on our roof January, 2024. They were great from start to finish. The installers did careful and aesthetic work. We did not have any easy roof!!. We are seeing the benefits now with our pg&e bill.

I called this morning to go over a mutual customer of ours , I have been calling for several days asking for Rich - he is always out. Immediately the person on the other end had a sarcastic attitude???? I explained the situation, we are trying to install a new roof, on a roof they have their equipment. The questioning from the person was defensive, again I have called several times, the person even chuckled when they found out the mutual customer, why, our mutual customer is a sweet lady?? I asked for a supervisor? Oh they have none?? of course they don't, "someone" has Zero Customer Service skills!!! wow!!! I can see why they don't want to return calls, I see why the attitude!!! they must have many customers and contractors that are very frustrated. Take note!!! Beware!!!

We had Freedom Solar in Campbell California put on solar panels more than a year ago and we have been pleased with the sales rep Mr. Kennedy, the installers, etc. They always came when they promised and the panels they put on were Sun Run panels which are very reliable. Mr. Kennedy really impressed me with his satellite documents that showed how much sun our roof received. Note that the biggest savings for us is being charged only a minimal PG&E bill during the days the sun is out. After the panels were installed, they trained me on reading and understanding the reports I got from Sunrun showing the periodical electricity used versus produced. Note there are other Freedom Solar companies outside Campbell so the yelp reviews are not always for work done by the Campbell CA office.

We were referred to Freedom Solar by a neighbor. Mark Kennedy was excellent and was easy to work with. The team at Freedom Solar were quick to get the permits and the installation was done in a few days. We are happy customers and would recommend Freedom Solar to anyone who plans to install Sunpower panels.

We had Freedom Solar install our solar panels in January 2023 and we decided to purchase a battery powerwall as I was tired of the power going out. We had our battery installed last month. Our interaction with Mike Obot (sales) and the entire Freedom Solar team has been a pleasure. They kept me informed during the entire process and always available to answer questions.
