Mr. Electric of Chattanooga

Allen McKinney from Mr. Electric was outstanding. He replaced four ceiling fans, three hall lights, two bathroom exhaust fans and an outlet. He was extremely professional and just the nicest individual. We couldn’t be happier.

Austin and Lawrence were great! I had several little projects going on and they got them all done in one day. Very conscientious and thorough. They put up with me hovering around and being the serial cleaner that I am! A little spendy, but with electrical you don’t want to scrimp. Highly recommend.

I am updating to one star now that I know I was ripped off. My 5 star review was out of relief to have power back. But now that the dust settled - I confirmed Jordan directly lied to me about what was required for me to pass inspection. Some nonsense about my smoke detectors. I questioned it since we just passed inspection a few years ago, but he said the code just changed in 2025. Big Maury Povich level lies. $1,300 for smoke detectors and $600 for a second surge protector we also didn't need. They also bought the wrong permits, sucked at communicating the inspection, failed the first inspection, and took forever to give my insurance the documents they needed for my claim. After going through this process several of the people I had to deal with commented that Mr. Electric often overcharges. I wish I hadn't been so desperate to get my power back on that day. Mr. Electric was amazing! After a tree limb ripped our power supply off our house, they responded super fast. Jordan was wonderful - he didna great job breaking everything down for us and making sure we understood what we were doing. JC and Larry worked so hard all day to get our power back same day! I didn't expect this to be resolved so fast. Thank yall so much!

Jordan, Texas and Trevor were the ones who worked with me and the electrical at my place. They kept their appointment time and did all of the necessary work required. They were very respectful of me and my property. Although the Mr. Electric company may charge more for their work, it’s well worth it to have it done right the first time. I am very pleased with the work they did for me.

I was very impressed with Allen McKinney, I needed an electrical outlet to be installed in my bathroom and the wiring needed to be connected directly to the main breaker panel, this was not an easy task. Allen was very communicative and skilled to give me suggestions. He is an expert, very obliging and has a fantastic personality. He completed the work promptly, and made sure everything was safe before he left. Allen's professionalism exemplifies what it means to put the customer first. His efforts not only resolved my issue but also significantly strengthened my appreciation for your company. I truly appreciate his dedication and commitment in providing great service and I hope the Manager will recognize Allen for his hard work. Thank you !

We had Isaiah come out to install a surge protector on our panel, a few outlets in our backyard patio and install a ceiling light/fan combo. He was prompt, communicated well, and asked for feedback along the way. Very courteous and knowledgeable. Glad we got him to help us! Would highly recommend him to anyone. Thanks Isaiah!

Professional review of the home electrical system. Needed a new smoke detector and replaced the heat and air unit breaker setup. Should be good to go for a number of years! Very pleased with the technician and his ability to get everything done in one trip!
