We have had a great experience with BC Solar. We had solar panels and batteries during a renovation, and later added additional panels and a third battery. Brian provided several options for us based on what we wanted within our budget range and helped us understand the differences. Installation was quicker than I expected and the electric team was terrific as well. Brian has been helpful anytime I've had a question. I had a positive experience with BC Solar. Wanted to use a local company rather than a national solar company (national sells the system but uses local contractor for installation). The technical design of the system occurs via another engineering entity I believe that BC Solar works with. Installation was accomplished by a combination of BC Solar people and a local electrician they use. Got a good explanation of how it all worked up front and they encouraged me to get other proposals. They came in a bit higher than one other national company that I asked for proposal. System works great. Can be a long process due to problems getting AEP to do what they need to do and multiple inspections needed. Waited 10 weeks for this. I would use BC Solar again, although have since heard of groups of homeowners getting together to form coops to buy multiple systems at same time, presumably giving them better leverage on price.
