I have no issue with the company so far, but to get them to remove the panel is very stressful process. Called them for removal, took 1 month to get an estimate. Called 1 month to get them here after making a full payment, or else they won't come. As of today they still haven't came. I call them repeatedly, there answer is always, they'll call you tomorrow.. don't happen. I am done with this company and I would suggest everyone, DO NOT GET PANELS THROUGH THEM.
Momentum comes in sounding great, good communication. Once contract is signed and solar in place they ghost you. Surge protector was put in the wrong box, still not moved to correct panel. Driveway damage not fixed and generac still not installed. It's been almost 3 months since install. Next step is reporting to the BBB. Stay away from them.
They seem to have a bad rap, but two years later I’m liking my panels still. There’s an app I’m connected to keep track of my energy usage/generation. I want a generator so I can get power when the grid goes down though. Texas grids are the worst. I wish that they offered me one in the package.
Slow response time for support and the warranty for these systems isn't worth the paper it's printed on. About 1k to replace a single damaged panel. Avoid this company. Company is NOT BBB listed in the DFW area.
The sales person lies. We told him we didn't pay taxes on our social security. My wife takes out from her social security that way we can pay our land taxes, he told us that we qualify for the tax credit. We knew no different but he scammed the elderly. If we had known we would not get the tax credit we wouldn't have signed up. He kept saying we had to hurry because time was running out on the tax credit Bad company period.
This is now day 2 of trying to cancel my installation. They will expedite calls and over promise customer service to make a sale but keep jerking you around afterwards.
Howard and the crew did a good work with the installation, I appreciate their effort. Momentum solar is awesome!!
