That allowed him to work with his team to design a solar system that maximizes the amount of electricity our home can generate, while minimizing how much of it can be viewed from the street. From that point forward, the NOVA Solar team proactively communicated with me during every step of the installation process as well as the system activation. Every member of the team that I engaged with was very professional and respectful. Not just in how they performed their work, but how they answered all my questions. I was completely impressed by the customer experience I’ve had with Nova Solar and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone that cares about service over price.

I had a fantastic experience with Nova Solar, and highly recommend their team. Jake was my project manager, and he had amazing patience with me as I peppered him with MANY questions and requests for quotes for multiple different configurations while we worked on the design. Unlike a few other vendors that I requested quotes from, there was never any pressure from Nova Solar to sign a contract, or push me into more than I needed. Trip was the lead on the installation team and was fantastic. The team showed up on schedule at 6:30am, and was done with my 28-panel installation before noon. Then Trip returned on very short notice a few days later when Fairfax County came out to do the inspection. Once the inspection was completed, Nova Solar sent a wrap-up package with everything I needed with documentation on my system, info on monitoring, SRECs, warranties, and even the documents that I'll need for federal and state tax credits. Very impressive!

After doing endless research in last few years and dealing with numerous installers with huge difference in estimates, we finally went with Nova Solar. Although the single most important reason behind our decision was probably their all-five star reviews on top websites like BBB and Google. I have no regrets, and that's why, I am here to write for them. Whole process was silky-smooth and transparent from the start to end. All the folks we dealt with-at all different stages of the project are awesome. I paid all cash, but I ran out of funds due to some other problem and they put no pressure on me. Now, quality wise, the 9.8 kW system is producing havoc, at least 2-2.5 X than our summer energy use. Super cool looking black panels are hard to miss, as shared by our neighbors. I am sure Nova will become a household name in the DMV area in a few years. Thank you Nova Solar Team!!

An amazing, professional and totally painless experience with Nova Solar!! Nova Solar was our solar install pick because of the quick and professional answers to our questions. I communicated directly with technical people - there are no sales folks. Once we signed the contract, the process moved quickly and smoothly. We signed the contract on December 4th and install was February 28th. The paperwork was painless both for Nova Solar and all the paperwork for the local electric company, etc. Nova's project manager helped with all the required paperwork for grants, hookups, permits, etc. He made it so easy. The install was also painless and took only 4 hours. We liked that all the install workers were Nova Solar employees. They don't use subcontractors. They have an amazing install truck organized with all they might need. No delays, no issues. The employees are very professional and very nice to work with. If you ask questions, you quickly realize the breadth of their experience. After the install, our program manager provided us with all the paperwork we would need for grants and approval to connect to the local electric company. It was all very well organized and straightforward. We have been on solar now for over 3 full months and the performance of our system has been excellent! I very highly recommend Nova Solar. You will be amazed at how easy they make the process.

I recently got solar panels installed by Nova Solar. The entire experience was very professional and smooth. Highly recommended! You know you are in good hands when the communication is prompt and thorough. LB was the project manager and he did an excellent job keeping me informed. Trip led the installation team. Being an engineer myself, I was thoroughly impressed with how clean they maintained the work sites, their tidy cable management, custom-built shelves inside their trailer to organize everything etc. I got to go up the roof to see the installation, and it was really good! I got my system turned on just a few days ago and so far the system is performing well with no issues (took about a month after installation to receive permission to operate from PEPCO)!
