Canter Power

Canter Power is great for generator installation and maintenance. Their technician, Matt is knowledgeable and friendly. They installed and have serviced my whole house generator for years and it is still reliable. I haven't gone one year without needing at least once for a power outage, and usually multiple times. Several times the outage was for two days or more. I'm glad I made the investment and the peace of mind that Canter Power can service it for routine maintenance or an emergency.

Field Engineer Matt Bannister arrived and performed generator service proficiently and expeditiously. He made sure things were right. I highly recommend Mr. Bannister for your service needs. He went beyond what was required.

Good afternoon It’s been almost a year since I’ve been unable to monitor my generator, and I don’t know if it’s doing its weekly exercises every Wednesday at the scheduled time. After nearly 10 months, the issue with the serial number of my generator was finally resolved. From the beginning, the serial number had been mistakenly assigned to another customer. Once that serial number issue was corrected, I was able to contact Mobile Link technical support, since the staff at Canter Power told me that I needed to resolve the issue through them. After resolving the serial number problem and following all the technical support steps provided by Mobile Link — including performing a hard reset by disconnecting the battery — they concluded that my current problem is that my router is not working. Because of that, I can’t connect to Mobile Link from my phone to monitor my generator. After that, I called Canter Power’s technical support and informed them of my situation and the issues I was facing. The technician only took my name and address and said they would be contacting me as soon as possible to send a technician. It’s been a week, and I’m still waiting for a response. I haven’t even received an email letting me know that they will call or when they plan to visit. I’m honestly very disappointed with the poor service this company has provided regarding my generator. The only thing I’ve received from Generac is information about maintenance plans, and I don’t even know if my generator currently needs any of that.

Canter Power Systems provides great service! Since they installed our generator a year ago, Canter has been just a phone call away to answer any questions about the generator or the app. Everyone I've spoken with has been friendly and knowledgeable. Today my generator was serviced-they let me know it was time; I don't have to think about or remember this! They keep me 'In the loop'! I recommend Canter highly

We found Generx installation to be a problem in communication between the company salesperson and the installation employees. Before we signed the contract I had asked the sales person that I have a gas grill and fireplace connected to the old tank, can you hook it up to the new tank? His response is yes, they could install a tee for the connection, but I would have to get the gas company to do that when they pick up the older, smaller tank. Well, the tee for the connection was never installed and it cost another $935.27 to hook up my grill and fireplace. The electric crew and the installation crew were great and all of their work past the inspections. So if you need a grill or fireplace added to your new tan, make sure you get it in writing.

William was professional and very experienced. He answered all my questions with knowledge that only someone with an extensive experience would know. Work was performed in an organized fashion while checking and testing all working parts were within standards. William a has a great can do spirit.
