Direct Energy of Florida put a hybrid water tank, radiant barrier in my attic and a solar fan in my attic with the promise that my electric bill would go down and most of the cost could be deducted on my income tax. Then I found out they didn't pull a work permit to do the work. After I complained repeatedly they finally pulled a work permit a year later after I complained multiple times to them. They repeated told me they would take care of it during the year and they would call me back but they never did. I went to the Martin County building permit place and found that the permit that was pulled was still "open" because Direct Energy never bothered to give them the specs to the water tank. That means I would have problems if I ever wanted to sell my house. I personally gave the specs to Martin County and I am now waiting for a county inspector. Finally when they showed me the water tank they wanted to install I questioned if it would fit. They assured me it would. Well it didn't quite fit and they damaged my brand new AC unit. Luckily the damage was covered under my warrant. If these people come to your house ask them to leave. They are trouble. Unfortunately 1 star is as low as I can go.

These guys sold me a unit telling me it would lower my bill but instead my bill went up 100. When I had called about it I was told that energy prices went up but how did they go up that much in the 2 weeks from when I signed the contract. I was told that I would be able to use the tax credits to pay for it and I even told the guy that I didnt work that year but he said I would be fine. When I went to file for the tax credits, I was told that bcz I didnt work, im not eligible. So they lied to me there and now I have to eat the whole $22k. Find a better company and stay far away from these guys.

We had windows installed and we absolutely love it. They got everything done in one day and cleaned up all the mess. They even did all the paperwork for us for the federal rebate monies.
