Energy Saving Pros

Earlier this year, my inverter died (for the second time in eight years). Unfortunately, the company who installed my system went out of business (as many have). I contacted a different company who provides "aid" to systems which are not producing "energy". Their quote options were absolutely ridiculous. This even included their quote to replace the inverter under warranty. I decided to contact Energy Saving Pros, for a second opinion, and I'm glad did. Their customer service during our initial phone conversation was fantastic. They gave me some options, and I ultimately decided to upgrade my inverter (starting a new warranty). The technicians who came out did a great job and my system has been running great ever since. Bottom line: Their customer service was great, and their prices were reasonable.

Had a great experience with my salesperson. Dropped $60 for large system and new roof. Now 3 years later I can't get any help when I need service on the solar system. They've blocked me from phone calls when they were supposed to fix my inverter. Now I've got a bill of $1500 for PG&e and still need a new installed inverter. Great job guys, I'll be out of pocket $5000 for something that is covered under your worthless warrantee. Will have to sue to get anything from them.

Barry and the team at Energy Saving Pros are the best. We decided to get solar after super high PGE bills and learning about the upcoming NEM changes. We got quotes from a few companies and ultimately picked them over another company because of a huge price difference for just about the size of system same system. Barry provided us all the information we needed and was there to answer questions and communicated every step of the way. He scheduled us for later in the March and reassured us that it would be done before the NEM changes went into effect. Called us when he had an opening and we were able to get it done early. Said it would take two to three days to install but sent extra crews and knocked it out in one day even through the rain. The crew was very friendly and great customer service. Everything went smoothly and we highly recommend Barry and the team at Energy Savers.

We had Energy Saving Pros install our solar and couldn't be more pleased! I dealt with Rachel who was very responsive and helpful with various questions we had. She even answered my e-mails I found out later while she was out of state on vacation! The job was scheduled and completed very quickly and works flawlessly. The guys who installed the system were professional, knowledgeable and polite. I would definitely go back to Energy Saving Pros for future projects.

We had Energy Saving Pros install solar when we first bought our house and they did a great job. When it was time to add more panels, they were the only company to call. Again Barry did not disappoint. We were in the middle of the NEM change with PG&E, Barry got us taken care of in time. They were able to get out to our house and knock out the job in a day. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to put Solar on their house.

Found this company through SMUD's contractor network when trying to find someone to install an EV charger in my garage. Company was reasonably-priced, but that's about it. The company agreed to install the charger on a specific date (as per the contract) but never actually scheduled an appointment. This should have been red flag #1. Subsequent phone calls to them either went unanswered for days, requiring me to constantly follow-up. Every time the answer was "oh, your order is back with our design department and we need to pull permits". All I needed was a plug, the design should have taken them about 30 seconds to draw a line from a breaker box to the garage. After multiple follow-up calls about their "design and permitting", the story then changed to "we got an influx of orders because of the solar deadline" (mind you, that deadline was after the agreed-upon install date). Anyway, long story short, after about 6 weeks of the runaround, I told them to get lost and I'd go with someone else. I just don't think they wanted a simple, inexpensive job, which is totally in their right but then just say that. Don't give people the runaround. Oh, and the other company I went to was similarly priced and came out 4 days after calling them. This company has serious communication issues, and I certainly would question the quality of their work since they can't seem to get their heads straight. Go find a different company to give your business to.

Energy Saving Pros did an super job for us! Barry and Mandy did a great job scheduling everything and made sure all the paperwork was in order. They also answered any and all questions we had. The electricians were great and made sure all the wiring conduit looked great. I was especially impressed with Ramond and his crew that came out to install the panels. They showed up on time and Raymond explained everything they were going to do. Unfortunately the roof was frosted over. Raymond didn't try to re-schedule the job, he waited until it was safe to go on the roof. When they got up there they didn't play around. They busted out the job and made it look easy. The panels look great! One of the reasons we went with Energy Saving Pros is because they have been around for awhile and I know if I have any problems in the future they will be there to help. When anyone I know is in the market for solar I will defiantly recommend Barry, Mandy, Raymond and crew at Energy Saving Pros.
