These guys are absolutely top notch! I asked for 100% enclosure and that's exactly what I got. Very precise on the way they filled in the smallest of areas to ensure full enclosure. Product quality and durability is head and shoulders above the others I looked at. The service was what we all dream about and what is so hard to find these days. They design and manufacture their shades right here in Lubbock. When comparing the materials and construction to others, it is clear they are designed to stand up to the West Texas weather. Their pricing is very competitive. It’s essentially factory direct level pricing. We have had one of their manual shades attached to our backyard pergola for years and it has performed flawlessly. I think we may have been one of their first customers. After experiencing my son’s newly installed powered shade I want one for our patio. We stood on his patio and lowered the shade and immediately felt the temperature drop. I can’t say enough about this great local company. Kirk and his team are true professionals and build a great product.

My remote broke on Thanksgiving with my shades down. Kurt came out the next morning to program me a new remote. He had to crawl in a tiny attic to get it done. Best service ever. I will never use anyone but Beat the Heat!

We love Beat the Heat! Upon moving in our home we needed some relief from this West Texas heat! Well we got it from Beat the Heat and let me tell you it has been awesome. I can’t recommend Beat the Heat Shading Systems enough! Amazing customer service. Kirk and his staff will go out of their way to make sure the customer is taken care of. We have 7 shades installed in our backyard patio, which have allowed us to use this extra space year round. Not to mention the peace of mind it gives me, since the shades prevent my 3-year-old from wandering to the pool.
