From initial contact to final Permission to Operate, the team at Solar Rising was fantastic. Great communication, informed responses to many initial questions, ease of contracting, on-time installation over two days in promised window, and an experienced team with attention to detail. 7kW system with whole home battery backup is operating flawlessly and exceeding production forecasts. Highly recommend.

I'm a narrative kind of guy, so this is the story of our solar array experience. I'd been studying solar for over a decade, and I was waiting for panels to become efficient enough to generate enough power for my entire house with a rooftop array. By the time these panels were available, one of my bosses had gotten his own solar panels. He hired a company that subbed out the actual work to Solar Rising, and he loved the workmanship so I hired them directly. My wife and I are a dangerous couple. I'm a science/tech guy with a background in construction safety and she's a finance person, so when someone pitches us, she asks the tech question and I watch for dodgy answers, and the reverse for finance. Neal came in and we found an honest guy talking straight, and we signed the contract within a week. What Neal has not known until now is we let a cold-caller pitch their system 2 days before we signed. They quoted us $1000 more for budget rated panels, compared to the highly rated panels we got from Solar Rising! So better price for better products. Solar Rising did all the paperwork, the permiting, signing us us for SRECs, the works; No hassle for us. Their work was top notch. TMLP, our power company, is notorious for trying to find any excuse to fail a project, worked well with Solar Rising to make certain the project exceeded code. Our array has been up since 2018 and has been trouble free since then. They answered all our stupid newbie questions with patience, and showed us how to use the apps. We recommended Solar Rising to our next door neighbors and they put in their array a month later. I'm recommending them to anyone reading this. They are the best! Thanks Guys, Cameron and MJ

Solar Rising installed 36 panels on our roof and wrapped the project in July. From start to finish, they were exceptional. They kept to the promised schedule to the day and kept us informed as each milestone was completed. The team listened to our questions and concerns, responded quickly, and even adjusted the design to meet our needs. During installation they arrived on time, worked efficiently, and were happy to make the small tweaks we requested. It’s been a month since activation and our production is already higher than Solar Rising’s estimate—even more great news. Overall, this was the best contracting experience we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

The Solar Rising team installed solar panels on our Woods Hole home. They did an excellent job and we are SO pleased to be powering our house with solar. Angela at the front desk was very helpful at every step. In the past 8 years, since the install, everything has worked flawlessly. Solar Rising team is second to none. 24 panels were installed 4 years ago and we have not had an electric bill since. They handled everything from design to permits and electrical. A pleasure to work with for sure. We bought a plug-hybrid suv 2 years ago and gas up once a quarter on average resulting in substantial savings. The system pays for itself in 6 and a half years. Simply amazing.

Neal was responsive, honest, and up-front about my request to try to coordinate a repair for my solar panels. He offered to look at pictures of my Inverter and gave me very useful timely information that helped me pursue resolution of my issue. This was one of the easiest and most pleasant interactions we have ever had in regard to having improvements done on our house. We really didn't know much about solar other than what we had read on line and knew that MA was the second highest electrical rates in the country. That alone drove us to reducing our electrical costs. From the very beginning, Solar Rising was great in explaining things in terms we could understand, coming out to the house to address our concerns, and even taking into account our future electrical needs for an EV we hadn't even purchased yet. The panel installation was no easy task as they installed 30 panels and there were multiple different roof areas that could not be connected through the attic. The work looks amazing, the crews professional, friendly, and on time, everything was cleaned up, and they even installed the EV charger in our garage. We just got our first electric bill, which last year at the same time was almost $400. This bill was $0. We couldn't be happier. Truly a great experience and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!
