Working with Unity Solar Group and Fezan was an awesome experience! With so many solar scams out there, it was a relief to find someone honest who explained everything clearly and made sure solar actually made sense for my home. Fezan got me multiple quotes, helped me pick the best one, and the install was quick, professional, and mess-free. That said, I’m frustrated with the ongoing delay in my electrical panel replacement. Their team explained this required an additional permit and revised drawings, but even though my solar install is complete, the panel upgrade still isn’t scheduled. My project is "in the pipeline," yet without a clear timeline, it feels like I’m waiting indefinitely. I’ll update this review once the electrical panel replacement is done. **Update 11/4/2025** Electrical panel swap completed smoothly and on time with the help of the USG Team. Fezan himself has been excellent throughout this process, and I still believe Unity Solar Group offers real value compared to much of what’s out there. I just hope they improve communication and turnaround on critical upgrades like electrical panel replacements. If you want to cut down your electric bills and work with someone you can trust, call Unity Solar Group and ask for Fezan, highly recommended, with the note that timelines on extra work may require some patience.

Our family is very pleased with Unity Solar Group. As soon as we were approved for permits the whole process from start to finish was very quick and activation of the panels by ComEd less than a week. I highly recommend this company.

I thoroughly recommend Unity Solar Group for your next solar project. The process started with a consultation for proposal in which Vira walked me through the entire scope of the project, what the project would cost, variants to the suggested proposal and an explanation of all credits we could expect. After the initial proposal we worked mainly with Jay for the next 3 months as they managed the entire process. Jay was prompt and responsive throughout the entire process, even despite my regular onslaught about questions regarding the application and permitting processes. All-in-all it took about 90 days for the entire process. The proposal was generated mid-January, the panels were installed late March and energized mid-April. I intend to work more with USG to augment my solar capabilities in the future.
