Even when the panel providers were late, the installation team worked beyond their normal work hours to complete as much as possible to mitigate the disruption the next day. They were able to rearrange their schedule to facilitate the completion of our installation as quickly and efficiently as possible. Stas and his crew were very professional and took great care in making sure everything was done correctly. The whole process was seamless and we were extremely happy with the new system. He also uninstalled and reinstalled the old system, and worked together with our roofing company to be sure everything could happen in sync. I got a referral from a friend for getting solar... after getting a quote from a company that had tons of very good reviews I decided that it seemed a bit expensive regardless of the level of customer service. I then got 4 other quotes from local companies that also had good reviews. All of the quotes were a little bit lower than that first one except for one particular quote. Magic Solar San Diego (Stas) came in with a MUCH lower price... More than 25% lower than most of the other offers. I was thrilled, and after re-reading Magic Solar's reviews I decided to go with Stas. Stas didn't have the same ultra fancy email presentations as the other companies, but he offered a clear proposal with different options based on my preferences. Stas' installed the very latest Q-Cell 400v G-10 panels on my roof, but he has access to whatever panels you might be interested in. The customer service was amazing though out! The speed at which each step proceeded surprised me every time. My city and SDGE we're also more responsive that I had anticipated. The ENTIRE process (quote to electricity production) took exactly 3 weeks from the 1st day that I contacted Magic Solar! Stas knows Solar and is also a wonderful electrician. Prior to installing the system, he fixed a serious problem we were having with our main breaker at the most reasonable price I could have imagined, and installed a 240v Nema 14-50 to allow us to charge our EV.

Pleased to share my excellent experience implementing solar batteries through Magic Solar. Every aspect of the project (from first contact to final inspection) was a profoundly positive customer experience. The service level provided was so incredibly differentiated I felt compelled to share what service should be. I chose batteries that Magic Solar had never used before (FranklinWH rather than the standard Tesla Powerwall), and the team honored my choice without pushback (unlike other installers I’d spoken with). This meant they had to learn and implement a battery solution they were not well-versed in, but they did, despite a 12 hour workday working with the battery manufacturer to make sure the install was flawless (at no extra charge to me). At one point they thought they may have caused an electrical issue (despite me identifying as a prior issue due to a poor quality Air conditioner install). They fixed the issue at their cost. Also, after quoting me the price initially, tariffs were announced that would have resulted in a 40% ($9,000) cost increase, but Stas worked quickly to secure battery inventory preventing this cost increase. I cannot be more pleased. The quality, competence and integrity of Magic Solar stands them apart from any other solar provider - I used to be an executive at a multinational PV solar manufacturer and I’ve interacted with 100’s of solar providers - Magic Solar beats them hands down in terms of a superior service level in every aspect of their offering.

Stas and Magic Solar came through and saved us when our solar system broke down, and he did it in the evening well after closing, and with a smile on his very friendly face.
