Northern Pacific Power Systems installed a solar plus battery system on my simple south facing roof. The team arrived promptly at 8am with delivery materials and got to work. The installers attached the panels while the engineers set up the electrical system. It was seamless and after 8 hours the panels were producing energy and storing it in the battery. I interacted with the engineers, Juan and Ray who were extremely professional, approachable, and delightful. Lunar battery sent a rep for the final configurations and they instructed me to download their ap which is easy to use and shows you how much you are generating/using etc. I was given all the info and contacts and felt totally comfortable and excited as I waved goodbye to the crew. Start to finish, great service, great experience with Northern Pacific!

Northern Pacific was really great to work with throughout the entire process. Graham, Devin, Jake O, Max, and Christian were all super easy to work with, they did a fantastic job and kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. The workmanship is top notch and the system is a welcomed addition to our home. I will be recommending Northern Pacific to anyone interested and for any future solar or battery needs.

My project manager Dan not only reworked my plans more than once at my request, he also took the time to explain how the system works and designed a setup perfectly suited to my home’s energy needs. Northern Pacific Power Systems recently installed solar on our home and they did an exceptional job! I also love that this business is locally owned since I try to support locally owned companies whenever possible. Like everyone else, we were tired of paying PG&E and wanted a change. Northern Pacific Power Systems was quick and efficient. The whole crew was professional and they had great communication with both my husband and I throughout the process. Contracted with Northern Power to install residential solar. I couldn’t be happier with the result. The process from inception to completion was, for me, effortless. The expertise, professionalism, and friendliness of everyone we interacted with was at the highest level. Shout out to Graham & Devin for initiating and managing the project, and to Branden and Anthony who installed the system over a 4 day stretch and were a pleasure to interact with. The quality of the work is impeccable. The communication before, during and after the project was focused, timely and respectful of the fact that my wife and I know absolutely nothing about solar. The company is local and employee owned.

Choose Northern Pacific Power! Here is why: I did all the research, I interviewed the top companies, I had three quotes then I was referred to Northern Pacific Power. NPP was by far the best in terms of the price, quality of the equipment (brand/quality of the panels, electrical components) and battery backup. They offered multiple financing options. They evaluated my energy use and provided me with a clear plan and schematics of how the panels would look and function. The project management team and the crew work seamlessly together and were always available for my questions. Everything was explained in detail. They installed 26 panels and the electric in 4 days! Not only that, but they scheduled and were present for every inspection, (PG&E, County, etc.) They took care of the permit, battery rebate and all the necessary paperwork. They were polite, clean and a pleasure to do business with. My PG&E bill was over $500/mo. No more! From the design to the final inspection this employee-owned operated company exceeded all my expectations. I am SO grateful I did not choose any other company. I'm thrilled!

Writing this review one year after my system was installed (23 solar panels, power wall battery, span smart panel, and EV charger). Everything has worked perfectly, exceeded all expectations; I could not be happier with the experience and this company. No, they were not the cheapest bid we received, far from it (solicited several bids from Tesla, larger national companies, and a couple other local installers), but they easily offered the best VALUE we could have received. I did a lot of homework on my system and our needs, and Northern Pacific from the beginning was among the most knowledgeable, versatile, and professional. They offered the best and latest technology (others tried to push older, less efficient panels, older central inverters, etc), they were the most versatile (created a reverse tilt system on the north slope of the roof to increase the number of panels and their efficiencies, had great suggestions for some additional hardware, etc.), and very professional – very responsive from their sales team, project lead and installers – and the quality, care and attention to details on the installation really blew me away. They clearly worked hard to have the system look attractive – not routing conduit all over the roof (that’s the hallmark of a cheap installer) everything is hidden and tucked away. Even in the attic, the install was very slick and tidy (a sign that they take pride in their work). The team even ran some open conduit to my panel to help with any future circuit additions, which I was very grateful for this summer when we added a circuit for a hot tub. Geez, even their stucco guy who patched the work around the new electrical panel was amazing, easily the best blending I’ve ever seen (anyone who has had stucco work done would appreciate how good this job is). One year on, the system has worked flawlessly, and the power generated is above projections. This was a big investment, and we chose the right team. I wanted the best, and we got it. I couldn’t recommend them more and would not hesitate to send a friend or family member to them in the future.
