I highly recommend Brilliant Harvest, LLC. I installed full residential solar system a little over a year ago including 54 panels 20' x 60' solar array, carport solar foundation, and 3 Tesla power walls along with Tesla inverters and gateway. The installation was meticulous and well organized on exterior wall. I couldn't be more happy. I deliberately waited over a year to post this to see long term quality and performance. No maintenance or repairs needed. I just enjoyed 5 months in a row with minimum power bill FPL $27. Total saving so far $5500. Thank you.

We had Brilliant Harvest design, engineer and install a 36 panel solar array system for our home, which is located in a hurricane zone. Based on my experience, I'd highly recommend Brilliant Harvest for your solar project! Since the owner of Brilliant Harvest, Bill Johnson, has an engineering and technical background, he brought terrific insights throughout the project. Also, Bill helped us understand and take advantage of the government rebate that was available to reduce the cost of the system. Bill was engaged and incredibly responsive at every stage of the project - before, during and after the installation of our solar array panels and related system. I also want to compliment Brilliant Harvest's engineering and installation team, as well as the office staff, which helped guide us through permitting and other logistics with Florida Power & Light. The system Brilliant Harvest specified is extremely robust and was engineered and installed in such a way that it survived intense back-to-back hurricanes (Helene & Milton) and continued to perform as originally planned, without skipping a beat, which is a great testament to engineering, products specified and installation. Our system is delivering significant power to our home and sending power back to the grid.

In 2017 we had 26 panels and 2 Tesla powerwalls installed by Brilliant Harvest. They were a pleasure to work with as we decided what kind of system we wanted and how to implement it. At their suggestion we had a system installed that allowed for easy future expansion. After two years during which we were able to collect data on the performance of the system we added 7 more panels. Brilliant Harvest performed an expert installation after working diligently with the Sarasota County inspectors. This was not trivial since ours was one of the first installations of its kind in Sarasota County. We cannot say enough about the quality and service we have received from Brilliant Harvest. They really do provide true value for your dollar.

Let me save you the time and anguish…you won’t find a better solar company or a better person than Mr. Johnson to help navigate the waters of investigating a solar system, sizing, purchasing/financing, and/or Tesla batteries. From a simple screw and nut on the mount to a cutting edge inverter to Tesla Powerwall 2.0 batteries, Brillant Harvest has it covered. Our experience was an unusual one … not enough South facing roof which was aging anyway requiring a ground mount, concrete pouring, about 300’ of trenching with cable lying and the actual gateway/inverter setup, everything was covered and went flawlessly. I have to admit I was a bit tepid about the size and complexity of the 20 kwh project, but again everything went off without a hitch! All questions (and concerns) were answered well past my expectations, phone calls immediately returned, support from the office staff (who met me at my location for paperwork), permitting and city/FPL inspections handled with professionalism and were actually painless and somewhat enjoyable as a learning experience thanks to Bill. The end product is both sharp and clean in appearance. It’s exceptionally functional without issues. Controlled by an app I’m able to see all aspects of the system, make real time changes, turn components on and off while sitting back to relax as the system collects and stores electrons. The system is the envy of friends, family and neighbors alike. If you’re looking to reduce your power bill, go green or cut the power company cord there isn’t a better company out there to help you navigate the waters of project completion every step of the way from beginning to end!

Bill Johnson and the whole Brilliant Harvest crew did a great job for us. First, they helped us negotiate the FPL rebate process, turning a proposal in record time, filing a successful application and then completely finishing the project in 90 days, when they were trying to complete a years work in the same window. They could not have been easier to work with or more attentive to detail and the system has worked flawlessly since the moment they turned it on. I'd recommend Brilliant Harvest to anyone contemplating a solar system... and everyone should be!

I like to share my experience with my solar electric system during hurricane Ian. The system consists of 28 solar panels for 11.4 kw generation and two Tesla Power Walls. The move to solar made sense to me, considering the increasing cost of energy and the tax incentive currently offered. Before the storm hit, I received a text message that the Tesla Power Walls were charged up full and ready to provide power during the hurricane emergency. It went on to say that we would not even know when Duke Energy failed. And that is exactly what happened. Duke was down for over an hour before one of my neighbors informed me that commercial power had failed. We enjoyed electric service from our solar system for the days that power from Duke was unavailable. We had air conditioning during the outage and were completely comfortable. We never had a power failure at our house…not even a little glitch. I am very happy with the system. It is just what I wanted. My system was installed by Brilliant Harvest of Sarasota. They did a great job! Everything works as it should. They always were on site when they said they would be and were very professional. I highly recommend them.

I’ll echo the comments of J K. My solar array system was installed by another company that went out of business. My inverter had a fault detection after only 1.3 years, so I called Brilliant Harvest. They quickly diagnosed the problem and contacted the manufacturer for a replacement. When they received it, they were able to install the new one the very next day! However, it was soon clear that the new inverter also had a problem. It made a rather loud humming noise and was running hot. Michael Earles at Brilliant Harvest contacted the manufacturer and but they initially said it was within operating specs and they didn’t want to do anything. Michael persisted and managed to get the case moved up the management chain until someone agreed that there was indeed a problem. They sent a replacement inverter that Michael installed quickly, and things are working fine. During this saga, I called Brilliant Harvest one day, and Bill Johnson, the company president picked up my call. He was very personable and informative. I’m glad to have Brilliant Harvest in Sarasota - they have provided excellent And very responsive service.
