Silicon Valley Clean Energy

We moved from Fremont to Sunnyvale and suddenly saw a price jump on PG&E bill even with a smaller house and a new fridge. Called them to opt out and they tried to make me believe that their rate is competitive. However, it's about 30% higher based on my experience. (Later it was found that my bill might be $1 or $2 cheaper than PG&E. The billing statement was quite confusing.)

I had opted out when the program started, but after installing Solar I realized that SVCE provides a much better program in terms of paying for excess energy I create and allowing me to carry that energy over. With PGE, you lose your excess energy value each year a true-up. If you have Solar, definitely check out SVCE. As a bonus, I have found the people who work there very nice to deal with. They are friendly and helpful.

Great Company. They source their electricity from renewable resources and replace PG&E's generation. PG&E are only billing me for delivery and gas now. I save a few dollars on my bill though and I feel great about using cleaner energy.

Too many downwers in here. The net price is basically identical to the old PG&E-only price (or around $3/mo more per month with GreenPrime), but now I get a choice of what fraction of the energy comes from renewable sources like solar/wind. That's cool, I guess. For locations that can manage it, something comparable should be mandated.

Why ı pay $80to you . I didn’t apply anything. I pay monthly my pg&e bill. Why ı pay you $80?

The company is on my pg&e electric bill. They charge up the universe. The bill was double increase with silicon valley. No way. I opt out is complicated. I didnt sign up for this. Im out!
