I researched over 30 Tucson solar installation companies and interviewed what I thought were the top four. Sunbright was the last interview and Dan (the owner) put on a simple to understand, no pressure, highly informative presentation. I chose Sunbright and super glad I did. Everyone from Mike (chief electrician) to the installation crew did a superb job.. Mike even spent several hours to ensure all my outlets were wired correctly. They use the best, most efficient panels on the market and I have an app to follow my electricity production.. their pricing is extremely attractive too. You will thank yourself for choosing Sunbright. Outstanding job!

I did some shopping around for quotes and Sunbright came out as the clear front runner as far as price and product quality. I very much appreciated that the Sunbright team was willing to consult and help me think through certain decisions, whereas other solar companies just said "it's up to you." In particular, I appreciated that Sunbright did not try to upsell me; their priority was getting a system installed that made sense for my family. Every person I worked with at Sunbright was helpful, professional, and kind. They got the job done promptly with minimal disruption -- it was a very painless process and installation. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to get solar.

Sunbright Solar was very responsive to my need, when my inverter went out. The professionalism and courteous manner in which they treated me was excellent. It was followed by Dustin, who was the technician that replaced my inverter. His knowledge, efficiency and effectiveness in not only replacing the defective part, but expertise in getting everything back on line was phenomenal. We highly recommend Dan and his Team at Sunbright Solar! We interviewed and received 5 installers quotes and chose Sunbright Solar in Tucson for many reasons! We were upgrading and replacing panels and an inverter and expanding our system with additional panels on our roof and a battery backup. We have a very unique setup – a huge steel ground mounted dual axis bi-directional solar tracker. Our original installer was no longer doing solar. So we needed someone that wasn’t intimidated about working on our tracker’s framework as well as knowledgeable to do the job correctly. Just getting a solar installer that knew what a solar tracker actually was or even willing to work on it- was a challenge to find. We didn’t want just anyone to slap additional solar panels on our roof top either and then not be there several years later if there was a problem. There are many solar installers listed in Tucson- so finding an experienced one took time too. We interviewed and received quotes from 5 solar installers. Before we got the quote, we did a lot of homework- as our solar panels manufacturer had went out of business 2 years after we had our initial install and had no warranty from that point on. We wanted to make a much more informed decision about the installer and the quality/brand of solar panels and equipment . Dan from Sunbright Solar really knows solar as he’s been doing solar a long time! From talking with him – we knew right away that as a business owner he keeps up to date with the solar industry trends and knows the past history of solar products brands pluses and minuses. (He is not high pressure- just give you the information needed to make a good decision for yourself.) What was also really appreciated and extremely helpful- was the communications we received from Sandra, who was our solar coordinator, as she kept tabs with us throughout the whole process – checking in every 2 weeks or so to tell us what was next- or even if they hadn’t heard anything yet from the electric company’s inspectors. Since we’ve done this before we knew how the electric company can also slow down the process to connect – however the timelines quoted by Dan gave us an accurate tracking map of what the steps and approvals from installing and inspections range in a realistic time frame. Our main lead install/electrician Mike was great too and kept us appraised of the times he would be coming or going and respectful of our home occupation hours when we needed the parking/driveway available to do our business. He did a very neat and clean job mounting everything and left our residence as clean as before they started the installation. Sunbright Solar built us a larger system with more warranty coverage and a better or same price for a quality system than 2 of the other 5 quotes we had gotten. His quote was not filled with add ons- rather he included lots of things the other companies were charging for. After we were connected to the electric company- we had a follow up meeting with Allen, one of Sunbright Solar’s team- to make sure we knew how to connect to the online app for monitoring and if we had any questions or concerns. That final meeting wasn't rushed and so helpful that it made the whole process feel like it all got wrapped up with a giant red bow! This was not the process we had with our first installer- and it was professional and amazing and we could sleep at night knowing there was a team working on our behalf for installing and after the fact! Our new Solar Install experience was a professional and first class one. We never had an entire team working for us like with our previous experience 10 years ago. If you want the longevity knowledge and competence of an excellent solar installer in Tucson, call them!

Sunbright Solar installed my solar system back in September 2024. Since then, my electric bill has never been over $30, and that's only because we installed at a time of year where there is less sunlight during the day, so we haven't built up enough credits. My most recent electric bill was $9, so I know once we have more sunlight during the day, my bill will be $0. I started shopping for solar a couple of years ago and had a good interaction with Dan from Sunbright back then, so when we finally decided to move forward, we asked Dan to provide us a new estimate, along with multiple other solar companies. We went with Sunbright because they listened and responded to our needs and we never felt oversold or forced into any decision. They were not the cheapest estimate, but we felt the most comfortable with their panels, the options they gave us to choose from, and their experience. We've been really happy with our system. The app is easy to use and understand, and their office is very responsive to our emails, even months later when we had a question.

Disgusting. Taking handicap parking; no placard, no handicap license plate. Absolutely gross. I guess at almost 10pm on a beer run, handicap people don’t matter? The parking lot was mostly empty. This is just gross that this company disregards people with handicaps so they can get get a front row parking spot. And they couldn’t even manage to park within the lines. This company needs to do better. How egregious to blatantly parking in a handicap spot without placards or an appropriate license plate WITH THE COMPANY NAME ON THE SIDE OF THE VEHICLE!!! So I just bought a new build and shopping solar, guess who I’m not using.

I'm providing a review from the perspective of someone who communicated with Sunbright but ultimately did not get a solar system. I'm very grateful for the opportunity I had to explore a potential solar system with Dan Schippers. I'm impressed with his knowledge and willingness to share it and educate me on many aspects of the system. I approached Sunbright with some unique and specific design issues that I wanted to provide for, and Dan was willing to take the time to help me through the process. I appreciate his honesty and perspective, which is a big deal to me. I realized that my challenging home and property conditions along with other technical factors will keep me from installing solar, at least for now. If you want to get a solar system I'd definitely recommend talking with Dan and Sunbright Solar because they know their stuff and will make sure you are getting what you're after, or if it won't work, they'll be honest with you about any limitations or trade-offs.
