Customer for more than 58 years and have very rarely had any problems and those have been due to service interruptions caused by Mother Nature. I also feel that, though rates have certainly increased over the years, they are in line with inflation and not exorbitant. I am a happy customer.....

I have been a customer for 15 years. Never late on a bill and the money doesnt matter. But getting TEP to take their money is ridiculous. Despite signing up for auto pay 3 weeks before next payment was due, they fail to withdraw the funds on the due date. later when I make a manual payment, I get a pop-up window alerting me that I may be making a double payment, although they do not show a previously scheduled payment. For a company that demands on-time payments, they have a difficult time accepting them. Very sub-par service. We will see tomorrow if they double bill me, it doesn’t matter. But they need to figure this out.

I have been paying my electric bill since 1984. I’ve lived in Tucson all these years always paid TEP. Guess what TEP sucks. They are a government entity and they do not care about you as a resident of the town that pays their bills!! I am saddened to see this degradation! I will never use TEP again and I’ve got 50 more years of money to spend.

Power has been out for over 5 hours for absolutely no reason... one of their transformers is down (read: their fault). Called the company to ask for an update, they said 9pm. Call at 9pm, place is closed. End up using some back-door methods to get a representative on the line, they offer no information or updates and just try to push me off the phone saying that we'll get a call as soon as the power is back online (why would that help?) I ask if they are able to reimburse for food spoilage and hotel cost (it's the middle of July in Arizona and I have been without power since the afternoon... it's hot). Lady is absolutely horrendous. Tells me food stays cold in a fridge for 12 hours without power (wildly incorrect). I tell her I'm not sure she's qualified to speak on the temperature of my fridge that I have temped, and she tells me to "google it". I didn't need to google anything to know that 47 degrees (the temperature of my fridge) was too warm for safe food storage, but google does say 4 hours, not 12, so thanks for the info, Rebecca. Would you feed your young children the warm chicken from my fridge, Rebecca? I would tell you to go elsewhere, but the customer has 0 choice as the market is entirely monopolized, which is probably why they feel they can go out of their way to be rude to you.

Worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The customer service reps have no access to any information and have no ability to help with any issues regarding unpaid bills. I have no idea why they make it so incredibly difficult to receive bills or check if any bills under an account are unpaid. I was also told they cannot look up landlord agreements unless it is after hours, midnight to 8 am. Ridiculous, worthless company.

Tucson electric has been very helpful and great to work with. I think they are very conscientious, and very good at communicating with customers during emergencies, as well as with billing and all aspects. I really appreciate this company!

They honestly act like scammers & it's a shame they've monopolized Tucson so theres no other options. They double charged us, YELLED & ARGUED with my husband, said they can't refund it for 30 days or they could apply it to next month. But what does that do for our other bills coming up? NOTHING. They're inconsiderate & rude. It doesn't matter who's fault it was, do your job KINDLY & CORRECTLY. I can only imagine how many other people you've done this too then denied.
