Solar Tuneup

I recently had Solar Tuneup clean my solar panels and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They did an outstanding job — the panels look brand new and are working more efficiently. The team was professional, punctual, and friendly. Best of all, the price was very reasonable for the quality of service provided. I’ll definitely be calling them again for future cleanings. I highly recommend Solar Tuneup For servicing of your solar panels and for cleaning them. They are extremely professional, Knowledgeable and prompt! One of our micro inverters on our solar panel system went bad after 11 years. GCI solar originally installed them in 2014 but I believe GCI solar sold the business a few years later to another company, and they have since gone out of business. Enphase Energy monitors our system and we are also able to check it through the Enphase app on our phone as well as on the computer. At any rate one of our solar panels hasn’t been working for a couple of months so there has been no output from that solar panel. I contacted Enphase energy and they sent us a new micro-inverter at no charge because it is still under warranty. Yay! The next step was to find a solar company that could do the install. I contacted one company and it took them over three weeks just to get me an estimate and the estimate I thought was rather high for the amount of work. Last Friday I contacted Justin at Solar Tuneup in Orange CA. He said he was very familiar with GCI Solar’s work and that he would be able to install the micro-inverter and clean our solar panels at the same time. He would register it with Enphase energy so that it would be monitored like the rest of our solar panels and the correct serial number would show in our monitoring system. Justin got us scheduled for the following Monday. He was here this morning with Apollo and they did a superb job. Great communication, professional service, and they completed the job for a reasonable price. My solar panels are clean and look great and they are all working perfectly. I will definitely hire Solar Tuneup the next time I need my solar panels cleaned or any repair work done.

He not only got the job done but also gave me some useful pointers on how to keep my solar system running at its best. Great service from start to finish -- highly recommend!

Justin and his crew were great! We are in a rental situation and noticed error lights on the existing setup. Justin came out the very next day and clearly explained the original setup had failed, the company who made it was out of business, and the only option was replacement (panels fine, inverter not so much). He had to go back and forth with property management and the owner, but the day it was approved, we were in contact and had an appointment for the new system install. New install took about 90 minutes, we have an appointment to see our energy generation, and they cleaned our panels too! Justin and Solar Tuneup are responsive, provide clear diagnosis and explanations, and show up 9n time. You can’t get better!,

Justin and his crew are top notch, easy going and above all honest folks. It’s hard to find a trustworthy contractors. Justin did an excellent job removing and reinstalling my solar panel system after my home roof remodel.
