Looking for a generator hook up install into my house electrical system. Stuart Jones was recommended. Stuart came out right to review and discuss options. He provided a comprehensive quote/estimate quickly which was competitive and included all parts needed. Scheduling was easy and with no long wait period. The techs assigned were both friendly and respectful. They performed an excellent job with the install and quality checked the operation upon completion. They cleaned up the area and reviewed the service performed with me afterwards. Extremely happy with the work, quality, and price of Stuart Jones Electric. Will happily use them again for my next electrical project.

Stuart Jones Electric responded quickly when I suspected the breaker for my dishwasher was not working. They arrived on time, replaced the breaker and saved us from having to buy a new dishwasher. We will call them the next time we need an electrician.

I rent a ground floor unit in the San Marco area. Last week, cables improperly installed (previously) leading up to the breaker box of my unit caught on fire due an arc caused by poorly installed and maintained cabling running throughout the crawlspace. Thank God I was awake when the arc occurred. I heard it then smelled smoke from the fire. The smoke detectors in this death trap had no batteries in them. After making my criminal landlord aware of the scare, she somehow got Joe and Will from Stuart Jones Electric to come out and assess and repair the derelict cabling. I was without power for one night but they came back the next day and spent the entire day installing new meter housing, new cables that are code compliant, and added a surge protector to the breaker box. Joe and Will saved my life and I am forever grateful. They were professional, kind, very knowledgeable, kept me up to speed on the progress of the repairs, and they cleaned up after themselves! I highly recommend Stuart Jones Electric! Ask for Joe and Will! Thank you for all you did for me last week.

**EDIT** I was NOT given ANY DISCOUNT as the company has replied. I paid what I was quoted with no mention of a discount.******I needed outlets and light switches to be replaced for my mother's home. I throughly explained this to the technician, showed him where they were when he arrived. I was not happy to find him wondering around in the living room where no work needed to be done and he had his helper starting to replace outlets I never asked to be replaced. When I asked why they were in my living room his response was " I was counting outlets" outlets that were not discussed in the quote nor discussed when he first arrived. I specifically said no outlets in this room are to be replaced when he arrived, so why he was wondering around my house instead of doing the work he was hired to do is beyond me! There was NO need to be in the other room he was wondering around in without permission! When all was done he told me the price I said that is not what I was quoted by the office so he called the office and low and behold I was right and his charge was $30/50 more. I will NOT be using this company again for any electrical needs. Work that was completed was adequate however, listening and respecting your customer goes a long way.

Totally disagree with previous review. First, had a lightning strike which blew out a GFI outlet. Allen repaired the same day! He was professional, provided quality & expert service and very courteous! 5 Stars! Second, Joe & Johnny came out to wire a generator. Again, they were expert, thorough and, also, very courteous! 5 Stars, again! In both cases, the jobs were done in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost! So, two 5 star ratings = 10 stars!!! If you live in the Jacksonville area and need electrical work this outfit is the one to use. Extremely knowledgeable and professional electricians. They are good listeners and most of all their work is solid and neat.

I would highly suggest using another electrician. The quality of work is terrible and the level of professionalism is even worse. The owner of the company had unlicensed contractors working on the job and Walked off the job without finishing the scope of work and fixing items that were working properly before they showed up on site. Worst Electrician in Jacksonville.
