I have never in my life given any company or person a 1 star review. This company is truly disappointing. When I hired tax rise I had about 60k in debt. Now fast forward over a year later I owe about 90k in debt. The tax rise reps assured me they will get me a reasonable resolution to reduce my debt. And I made it clear I wanted no levys, tax liens, or garnishments. They are now telling me they have no solution without a tax Lein. Or i would have to significantly pay down my total debt to under 50k. I could have done a payment plan directly with the IRS from day one. And now they have totally screwed me with no resolution that fits my needs and don’t even answer the phone. I don’t even have an assigned case manager that I can talk to. And can’t get anyone on the phone that doesn’t sound like a 21 year old complete newbie who stutters for 10 minutes to say 2 sentences. 2 of the reps that were helping me have quit. This is so frustrating I have never felt so robbed and cheated out of a service. I am on the fence of getting levys and tax liened and hope someone from their higher up’s would see this and take action to step in and help me out

This company is a joke they took $500 from me which I didn't even agree to for them to take from my account, they were suppose to set it up in payment arrangements but instead they take it out all in one weekend I told him I couldn't afford to do that so when I asked for the money back there not giving it me. Not only that but I also cancelled the contract I had with them within 24 hours of signing it, now it's taking almost a week or more now to get the money and still nothing, I call the bank they tell me there is no pending deposit being made. I have to rent a car to get back and fourth to work everyday these people have made it to where I can't even rent a car now because they're not giving me the money back. Please do not waste your time or your money with this company.

I was so overwhelmed by the whole idea of dealing with the IRS! I had an extremely kind and patient consultant named Etic. I couldn’t have had a better experience and just want to give a big shout out to her! Thank you Etic!

Would have given 5 stars yet, I keep getting letters from the IRS. They do not keep us updated on what is happening and tell us to call when we get a letter. We call, we get no response. I have no idea what is going on and I’m nervous that we spent $6,000 for services and no answers. They did not ask for many documents necessary to file a tax return such as mortgage interest and student loan interest. They did file our taxes yet, we are getting letters from the IRS that make zero sense as we were set with a payment plan. A reasonable one. But the letters are requesting thousands due in a one week time period. If we are on a payment plan, why is the IRS requesting a large sum of money immediately? I don’t know what to think. Our taxes are not hard but not simple either. So, I’m very very confused as to what happened. I am giving 4 stars as the staff is very nice. Very. And I know the IRS are trying to put us all in the poor house. But, I feel I could have taken that $6000 and gave it straight to the IRS and set up a plan directly with them.

Amber was extremely patient with me and intentional with helping me work out some challenges. I could immediately tell she was doing her best to help me get the answers I needed. She took the time to explain everything I needed to stay on track and answered all my questions!
