The Fresh Market

Everyone should experience a casual and relaxed visit to a Fresh Market and this particular store gets high marks for its consistently great offerings. For the best time, don't bring a budget with you through the door. Just head on in and browse every aisle and special item displays throughout the store, examining particular high-quality foods that you can't obtain at the more traditional grocery stores. You'll also be surprised to discover that Fresh Market has astoundingly competitive prices that make the experience all the more pleasant. The staff are quite friendly and helpful and you're sure to find items that you can't leave behind, so plan to spend an hour or so and bring home some great food. We live fairly rural and it's a seventy-mile trip one-way, but well worth it. We stock up on favorites and a few new things we always try from a truly great selection. We always spend the day in Chattanooga and make Fresh Market our last stop before finally heading home. If you're already familiar with Fresh Market in Chattanooga then you know what a great store it is to get quality groceries. If you've somehow never been to a Fresh Market, then make plans to do so. You won't regret it.

I would like to give a shout-out to Renee, who helped me put this gorgeous bouquet together on Valentine's Day for this special event. She was truly sincere, passionate, and caring about what I wanted. Thank you, Renee! I have always liked buying flowers from this business through the years. The prices are reasonable with the best quality in the area. The best part is if you're on a budget, buy the flowers / vase if you don't have one, which is cheaper than the pre made ones. Keep this quiet. Would I recommend this business? Absolutely Would I return? Absolutely Don't take my word for it. Go see for yourself!

Zach in the meat department really took the time to talk with and clarify my order, which would have been wrong were it not for claritying exactly what it was that I was asking for. He deserves to hold a position as a manger; very pleasant and genuine personality. Thank you, Zach for being there and doing your job so well. Carlos took an order for me while I was waiting for Zach to finish up a previous order. Carlos is another very pleasant employee in the meat department, and one can tell that both gentlemen enjoy their work and are glad to be there. Thank you both for serving the public so we'll. You're very appreciated

The store had an awesome setup. However, I was here early and they sold me a sausage bisquet sandwich which I had to wait in. It was cold and they told me where the microwave was. 6 bucks for a sandwich I could have done at home.

Just came in 2 days ago. I hadn't been there in a few months and prices have gone up so high that I walked out w nothing bc it just wasn't worth it. $12.79 a pound for pasta salad?? Almost $9 for a small thing of broccoli and cheese? I wanted to go in and find something to make for dinner but take out was actually cheaper. Its almost like they're more concerned about how much of a profit theyre getting and not if any of it is actually worth the price being charged for what it is. Why are prices going up while quality goes down? Shouldn't it be worth the money at the very least? Bare minimum it should be fresh and good quality and ive read plenty of reviews on here of ppl finding out of date items etc. Its just wrong.

After a stressful day, I pop into FM for bread and meat. Once again I find myself waiting too long to be waited on at the meat & cheese counter. One busy young man (Corey), helping a customer, noticed my long wait and made a point to tell me he would get a coworker to get me next. More waiting and finally Corey was free to assist me. After cutting turkey slices, with heart, he apologized for my long wait. That one act of kindness was so appreciated. Give that young man a pat on the back! When checking out, the lady scanning my purchases made a point to tell me she put my meat next to colder items to keep it cool. Kindness. It goes such a long way. Thank you Fresh Market for a "Fresh" approach to customer service. Also, THANK YOU for playing classical music in your store! What a classy atmosphere!

This evening I was highly offended by the behavior of the two ladies at the bakery counter. They began snickering among themselves as if there was some sort of inside joke regarding me. I was not rude or unreasonable in any way. It left me shaken and never wanting to return. What happened to controlling yourself in view of customers? Not cool.
