Lennar contracted True Air to handle the HVAC installs in our new Carlsbad community, and unfortunately, it’s been a poor experience. After just 2 years, my AC stopped working. I reached out to True Air multiple times with no response. When I finally did get a reply, they wanted to charge $300 just to come out and look at the system—which is well above market rate. Several independent HVAC techs confirmed there’s a refrigerant leak and that the system was poorly installed from the start. The condenser and evaporator coil are mismatched (2.5 ton vs. 3.5 ton), and the system is undersized for the house. Sadly, I’m not alone—many of my neighbors have had similar HVAC issues. I’ve contacted Lennar and urged them to reconsider working with vendors like True Air, who seem more focused on winning low-bid contracts than standing behind their work.
Technician arrived on time and was able to change the settings so that my air conditioner can run cold air. My air conditioner now works.
literally the most unprofessional company i’ve ever dealt with. they will cancel or reschedule almost every single appointment. when someone does show up it takes weeks to hear back. the receptionists are incredibly rude &will hang up on you countless times. I don’t know how this company is in business. I had them out THREE months ago & they are still "working on" my airflow issue v
Hank went above and beyond to solve all of our HVAC issues and paid such close attention to detail to make sure everyone was perfect. The small things mean a lot, and he made sure to keep everything super clean, putting down plastic everywhere he went, and even vacuuming up afterwards. He solved all of our issues quickly and in one visit
Does not communicate, it has been over a week since I last heard anything and almost 2 weeks since my ac went out.
Repair time scheduled however Tech never show up on Friday afternoon which obviously will be delayed for another 2 days. Very bad experience. Will be living for couple more days without heating
They could not provide me with the part number they installed.
