Dealing with Elyes and US Comfort was one of the most frustrating experiences ever. He was rude, disrespectful, and lacked any decorum of professionalism. He was late by 2.5 hours for our first appointment and was changing his clothes in the middle of the street in front of my house when he arrived totally unprepared. He repeatedly yelled at me, dismissed me, and made me feel like I was trash, not a paying customer. I hired US Comfort to install a new HVAC system and that I wanted it permitted. When I found out that he never obtained the permits for the work 5 days into the job, he started screaming at me and telling me that I caused the problem, then sent me a text with the permit application that he had just filled out, incompletely, and claimed that it was the actual permit. He was so abusive that the woman at the Building & Safety office (who was on the phone during his tirade) asked me if she should call the police to help me. He continued to yell at me until I finally confronted him with his lies about not obtaining the permit. His response was, "haven't you ever made a mistake," and only stopped yelling at me when I told him that I had reported him to the CSLB for his failure to obtain the permit prior to the onset of work, a legal requirement. When I repeatedly complained that I smelled gas, he told me that it was just the "system burn-off because it was new." Eleven (11) days later, he failed inspection on 6 major issues and the inspector told me to call the gas company because he, too, smelled gas. Not only did the gas company shut off my gas, but they locked it. Elyes refused to come to repair the gas leak until I threatened to fire him. Then, he accused me of crawling under my house or hiring someone to crawl under my house to cause the gas leak. At that point, Elyes refused to answer questions or even speak to me unless he was allowed to install cameras throughout my house to monitor me. He, then, unplugged my heating system without telling me so I could not use it in winter. He claimed that I manipulated the city inspector and that the city inspector was wrong on all 6 major corrections, then deliberately tried to deceive me by sending me some random internet search on 1 of these 6 corrections. At that point, I fired Elyes and US Comfort and hired another contractor to repair his mistakes and complete the job. The new contractor had significant corrections to make, including removing all the ducts that Elyes had improperly installed and replacing them with the appropriate ducts, properly securing the heating in my attic, and covering the exposed A/C wires in my backyard. I filed a complaint with the CSLB for financial damages and Elyes was forced into arbitration with me. It took almost one year to go to arbitration because Elyes and US Comfort's contractor's license had been suspended because he failed to pay a financial judgment against him to a complainant unrelated to me. Again, Elyes was unprepared for the arbitration on Zoom and appeared in a dirty t-shirt and boxer shorts. He had no reasonable or rational explanation for his inspection failure and resorted to personal attacks against me and prevarications. He also admitted to retaliating against me by calling the city claiming that my kitchen remodel of 12 years ago was not permitted. It was. The city contacted me to tell me that he was incessantly calling them and they were tired of dealing with him. Of course, he lost the arbitration and is, once again, required to pay a financial award in the exact amount that I asked for. I have yet to be paid. Consumers, please make sure you check that his license is active and in good standing should you choose to proceed to work with Elyes and US Comfort in the future. But my recommendation is to take your business elsewhere.

Had to have my AC/Heater replaced, because it finally gave out. I decided to go with US Comfort, because a neighbor had their AC/Heater replaced by them a couple of years ago and is very happy with the job they did. Elias at US Comfort gave me an estimate within two days of me reaching out to them and work began just a few days later. The work crew was very nice, showed up when they said they would, and cleaned up at the end of the day, before leaving. Throughout the installation, which lasted 4 days, Elias stayed in touch and answered any questions I had. The whole process was smooth and pleasant and I couldn't be happier with the result! I highly recommend US Comfort for your HVAC needs, their knowledge and professionalism made it a very pleasant experience.... and the best part is that they offer a 5 year warranty, most other places do not. US Comfort gets 5 stars from me!!!

US Comfort was great! I had them remove an old evaporative cooler on my roof and replace it with a new one, which I previously bought. Elias and his team were on time, and performed the work perfectly. Elias even offered to clean my roof's solar panels at no extra cost! It was a pleasure working with Elias, who was professional, helpful, and friendly. He also had the best price. I would definitely use US Comfort/Elias again, should the need arise.

US Comfort answered my call! They got back to me quickly and sent someone out to fix my low flow sink. The tech Porfirio was clean and knowledgeable he fixed the sink the same day. He explained what the problem was and how he would fix it if it happens again. The payment process was easy and through an app. I will call US Comfort again for other services, highly recommend it!

Smart Home Success! US Comfort did a great job installing Google Nest doorbell, cameras, and thermostat. I was fully updated on the progress of the techs with the project from when they arrived until when they finished. The company was thorough, clean, and made sure I understood the controls and options available. I will definitely be using them for all my future needs!

You know the story: August heat wave in Los Angeles, Tuesday at 8pm A/C quits working. I started calling around first thing Wednesday morning, mostly it was "next week" or, at best "tomorrow". Then I called US Comfort, and within minutes Elias called back and said he could come fix my system between 2pm and 6pm THAT SAME DAY. Sure enough, at 1:30 he called back and said he would be there in 45 minutes, and lo he drove up in his well equipped truck and spiffy uniform at 2:15, crisply and efficiently outlined the repair options and costs, then got to work- impeccable craftsmanship house is already cooler by 4pm 🙂 Also, he adroitly dealt with the previously unnoticed wasp nest (and the inhabitants thereof) in the shutoff box- no extra charge! The estimate approval, invoicing and payment process was conducted electronically- no paperwork. Truly a paragon of professionalism and superlative service that I recommend without reservation. and a life saver for my older (rescued) pugs, who can't take off their fur coats
