While I do not have to wait long periods of time for power to be restored, as an Baton Rouge Entergy customer you should expect to lose power at least once a month, if not more regardless of weather conditions.

One of their workers pulled out infront of me at racetrac off ceadercrest and old Hammond and almost caused an accident then wanted too try and come up to me in the racetrac trying to act tuff there’s a reason this company has such a low rating I will be filing a compliant to the corporate office as well

Horrible experience. The substation that Entergy built in Robert in 2018 has continually caused my property to flood. Entergy was made aware that the culvert was an adequate before they put asphalt down. During hurricane Ida people had to evacuate and chest deep water Soley because of the inadequate drainage on Entergy‘s property. Entergy refuses to return my phone calls or keep the appointments that they set with me to have an engineer come out and discuss fixing the flooding problems. They have affectively damned up the drainage from the Walmart distribution center causing it to divert every time it rains onto my property. Hey Entergy it’s your buddy you might want to fix this before you have over half $1 million worth of property damage

I am highly disappointed with Entergy. This is the worst power supplier in my opinion, and it always seems that they are confused. When power goes out, it only affects 40 houses in my subdivision in Woodland Oaks. This is highly unacceptable! I was assured after Hurricane Ida that the grid would be updated and that the 40 houses would be moved to another grid. Since then, I have not seen an improvement. So, I take it as I was lied to. This is becoming a little outrageous now. If a little wind and rain is gonna cause such chaos, Entergy has no reason to be the monopoly of power suppliers. Considering Entergy is worth 24.21 billion dollars, this is what I propose, Mr. Andrew S. Marsh: supply all of your customers with whole-house backup generators. I would even be willing to pay $10 more a month for a "Storm Related Charge." You already charge that, and I am not convinced that my money is being adequately used. Do not take this review lightly. We, as your customers, deserve more and better. We demand it!!

Entergy is the worst electric company in my area. Everytime the wind blows lights go off. My bill is always high. The only thing they do is disconnect people on time. Everything else is done slow, we lost all our food after a tornado a few months ago. The lights were off almost a week. They have no sympathy even turned my elderly neighbor off when it was still hot. This is Louisiana it's always hot in the summer, 90 degrees feels like 100.

If I could leave negative stars, I would. Yesterday, Entergy service crew was fixing a street light and knocked on my door to let me know they needed to cut my power briefly bc there was an issue with my service box in the yard. Then this am, our lights dimmed, breakers tripped, all signs suggesting I now have a voltage issue which I never had before their service people "fixed" something. 2 calls to their vaunted 1-800 service line (which is a clown show and rude), only to be informed at 2 pm this afternoon that my problem was now logged as an "emergency voltage" situation and I should not run AC or appliances. Their definition of an emergency is comical -No truck has shown up to correct the issue they created. Their service structure is abhorrent. Plus, Entergy has REFUSED to let me (the customer) know when this issue will be fixed. They are just a horrible, horrible company. Can't wait for the inevitable apology post amd referring me back to the 1-800 number I have already called multiple times. Just garbage treatment.

Entergy is terrible terrible terrible I really wish we could get another company to have power from. The new storm francine before it even touch land on wednesday Entergy turned the power off hour before the dam storm. I have kids spending all this money every month on entergy just for them to have you in the heat for days and days after storm is pure hell and torture. Im in school and need power badly all my meat have been spoiled. They will not refund you for those things. My area needs another company this company needs to go out of business. They are bad to deal with do not ever get entergy are move in a place that uses entergy you will be sorry.i wish i could give no stars.
